Made this for our friends 40th Anniversary. They wanted it to look like a small wedding cake so I went with 8, 6, 4 in stacked cakes. White fondant flowers w/ edible pearls. The topper was a craft foam letter G for the structure covered in white fondant flowers.

My friend asked me to make a cake for her IT husband. She wanted it to look like he was walking through "that thing inside the computer that looks like a city". There is certainly a lot of detail missing, but we were going for simple, rather than totally accurate.
This was for my friend who finally finished her Doctorate. Her prayer was that God would give her a mountain of ministry now that she's finished & asked me to represent that through cake. My first topsy-turvy cake...had a few issues with that,but on the whole I think it worked.
Airbrushed & hand-painted sides. Brown sugar sand, air-brushed white chocolate shells. Fence made of square toothpicks & wire then painted with food -color. Because the chairs were painted wood they were placed on a cake board & surrounded with brown sugar to avoid contact with the cake.
Made this for my daughter's teacher. She gave it to her husband for their anniversary. He is a steer wrestler & team roper and she is a barrel racer. Both are champions in their events. Bottom of cake wrapped in fondant & sponged to look like jean.
Made this for some friends who were having their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Used fondant mixed with tylose powder to make all flowers & the "50" on top. I used mustard seeds for the inside of the flowers...although they are edible I did warn everyone that they wouldn't taste so great if they were eaten ;o)
Made this for a friend's son who loves baseball. The bat a little shorter in proportion to the other items, but he liked it anyway :o)
This was made for my husband's cousin. They gave me the shower invite & let me go from there. You can't see it, but the baby's little toes are sticking out from under the blanket. I wish I had gotten than in the pic b/c it was my favorite part.

This was made for my friend's work Christmas party...she is a pharmacist. Box, mortar & pestle are made from fondant. Bow and tissue paper are made from candy clay. TFL!
Mickey Mouse themed birthday cake iced in buttercream and wrapped in red fondant. The silhouette on top was made from fondant w/ tylose powder added to make it hard. The letters are made from fondant. All of the characters were purchased & supplied by the bday girls grandmother.
This is not only my first carved cake, but also my first fondant covered cake. While there is room for improvement I think it turned out okay. My aunt loves her red lipstick and cheetah print so my uncle asked me if I could make a set of big red lips. She loved it!
These cookies were made for a little boy's night before kindergarten. His daddy read him this book every night before bed since he was born. NFSC topped w/ MMF that was painted and then pieced together to get the Eric Carle look. Eah cookie took about 45 minutes to do.
Birthday boy's name was used instead of Steelers. The logo is hand-painted. However, I was particularly shaky the day I needed to paint his name & it just wasn't going to happen. So, I just cut it out of paper and put it on it's own piece of fondant that could be removed before serving.
NFSC topped with MMF. Quilt designs are hand-painted. TFL!!
My daughter & her cousin were born 5 days apart so we decided to do a combined b-day party while we can still get away with it! These little critters are made from fondant & match their invitations. Since both of their names begin w/ "E" I made the cookies (NFSC w/ marshmallow fondant & royal icing) as the thank you gift.
BIG thanks to CristyInMiami whose Minnie Mouse cake is the one I modeled this one after. Made for my neice's 2nd b-day. Buttercream icing w/ MMF accents. Tylose Powder was added to the mmf for the topper pieces.
