Family Baptism Cake
This cake was made for several families that were all Baptized at once. The customer wanted something religious but requested it to be different shades of purple because the Baptism was done on Easter Sunday. It is a Lemon Pound Cake torted and covered in Lemon Cream Cheese Icing. The customer picked up the cake earlier than what was discussed so the cross, which as made of Color Flow, wasn't quite dry and broke as I was putting it on...landing in the "Welcome". The cross looked like real wood and the Guests were afraid to eat it! :>) This picture was taken at the event hall in the church annex where it was very hot...and the icing started to slide... Please comment...and critique the cake...I want to learn from the experts! Thank you for looking!

The Flowers and leaves Happy Easter cake is a Lemon Pound Cake with Lemon Cream Cheese Icing. Please comment...I need to learn from my mistakes! Thank you for looking!

Navy Commander Retirement Cake
This is the top view of the biggest cake I have ever sold! It is a WASC cake with Almond Buttercream Icing. Some of things that went wrong: my oven took a dive, a tripped with the FBCT's and I couldn't level the cake on the front left side to save my life! After 2 days of no sleep working on the cake (trying to get 4 sheet cakes that wouldn't collapse)...I was happy that the cake was completed at all. Thank you to CAKEMOMMY for all of your suggestions and advise. You are my IDOL!!!! The cake ended up feeding 500 + guests. Please post comments...all are welcome! Thank you for looking!
