This cake was made for several families that were all Baptized at once. The customer wanted something religious but requested it to be different shades of purple because the Baptism was done on Easter Sunday. It is a Lemon Pound Cake torted and covered in Lemon Cream Cheese Icing. The customer picked up the cake earlier than what was discussed so the cross, which as made of Color Flow, wasn't quite dry and broke as I was putting it on...landing in the "Welcome". The cross looked like real wood and the Guests were afraid to eat it! :>) This picture was taken at the event hall in the church annex where it was very hot...and the icing started to slide...
