Hog Heaven
This was designed by the bride and groom... every thing to their specifications.. they provided us color pictures of their tattoos and where they wanted them on the cake, the colors etc. We were really nervous making it, but they LOVED IT! Covered in fondant... the tattoos were drawn on edible images and cut out, then turned over and iced in white BC very carefully and quickly, then frozen. While frozen they are easier to handle, and a few dots of DC helps them stick... colors won't bleed.

Paisley Drapes
BC iced paisleys offset a bit for they wanted the topper on the bottom layer, not the top... ivory drapes and gumpaste flowers (purchased) and accented with some lavender dust and some salmon centers on the smaller flowers.... It was the center of a set of three cakes... three tiers in the center and a two tier on either side... this was still in the fridge when I snapped the picture....

Christmas Around The Globe
Ball pan on a 14 inch round.... made for a party for a ton of exchange students... loosely done, there are stars on the areas where the kids are from and a heart for where their American families all are.... of course, Santa and the elves on the North Pole. The countries for the kids are listed around the edge of the cake.

Love Is....
Fondant covered cake. First attempt at sugarveil for writing... traced a computer printed page of writing, then attempted to put it on the cake... airbrused it, dusted it... applied it, and slowly all the words are falling off due to humidity, we think.... Nice while it lasts! multi color ribbon and piping gel border.
