Lil' Princess (Myah) 1St Birthday
Vanilla cake with buttercream filling. Mom left the design completely up to me. The theme was "Lil' Princess 1st Birthday". The crown is made entirely of fondant. Some of the accents are sprayed with PME pearl luster spray. Everything is edible except the "glass" slipper.

Red Snapper Cake
Yellow cake with pineapple filling. Crumb coated in vanilla buttercream and covered in white Wilton fondant. I used red and pearl PME luster sprays to give it color. For the "scales", I used a small produce bag that was previously used for fruit. It gave it the exact effect I was hoping for. The "veggies" were hand crafted from fondant.

Special Delivery Sent From Heaven
The theme of the shower was a stork with a package/bundle, so I decided to make the cake "the bundle"...everyone had to imagine there was a baby hidden inside sent for the mommy and daddy-to-be, Recipe: WASC. Really fun to make. I enjoyed making the pacifier and rattle too.

Our Version Of A New Line Of Coach Bags...animal Print!
The b-day girl works for Coach; however, her b-day party was going to be held at a hotel called "Sheraton Safari Resort" and the party theme was "An evening in the Safari", so we decided to come up with our own new line of Coach bags that are animal print...it was a huge hit and the b-day girl absolutely LOVED it! Cake is WVSC with Strawberry Cheesecake filling. BTW, this was my first attempt at making a purse. I can find and point out many flaws and things I would do differently next time, but what counts is that my client was happy and the cake got rave reviews...even from the hotel banquet/catering manager who even offered me a part-time gig!!!!!!

One Crazy Cake!
First attempt at making a whimsical/topsy turvy cake. I chose this shape because it seemed appropriate after I heard the design that the customer wanted. They wanted a blend of elements that make up the birthday girl. The girl loves to shop @ American Eagle (AE), hence the Eagle on top. She loves music, hence the notes. She wears converse sneakers, hence the logo. She loves dolphins and sea shells, hence the first tier. I hope I achieved what they wanted. Cake is Puerto Rican almond recipe.

Princess Kaela Birthday Cake
This was for a lil' girl turning "5". I wish I was there to see her face. Her grandmother works with my wife and requested a special design, so this is what we came up with. It is 3 tiers. The bottom 10" and the top 6" are Chocolate cake filled with chocolate b/c. The middle tier is 8" and filled with strawberry cream.

Build-A-Bear Birthday
Teddy Bear cake was made using the Wilton Bear Pan. I used the WV (Vanilla)SC recipe for this cake. The birthday hat on the bear was made out of a sugar cone. The square cake is also WVSC, but filled with strawberry cheesecake. Birthday girl LOVES Elmo, so we had to throw him in there...he's made out of gumpaste =)

Cinderella Fairytale Cake
A friend of mine ordered this cake for her daughter turning 3. One night, while reading "Cinderella's Fairytale Wedding Story" to her daughter, she comes across Cinderella's wedding cake. Her daughter jumped up and said, "Mom, that's the cake I want for my b-day!" So, my friend called me up and asked me to mimic it as much as possible. This is my interpretation of it. The cake is vanilla with strawberry cheesecake filling. It's all buttercream with the exception of the swags/draping, flowers,& pillow.
