This is Tin Top, a character from the UK tv show Roary the racing car. For a little boy's birthday. Car is MMF, the 3 is made out of RI.
Pink and white barbie cake
This was for a little boy turning 2. Tractors are not easy to do, let me tell you... but I guess it turned out ok. The pigs were more fun to make. Everything is MMF except the hay and fence which is piped RI. The mom later told me that the boy would not let her cut the cake seeing as it was HIS! But she finally got to cut and serve it after she let him have the tractor to play with.
This cake has close to 2000 gold pearls on it, so this time I did not hand roll the pearls myself :-) wanted to keep my sanity... Anyway, I found some white'ish pearls that I could buy and I sprayed them with a gold spray and rolled them in gold lustre dust. It was still a pain in the *** putting them on the cake! On top are some small MMF flowers with a little gold here and there on them.

I hate making machines, cars, trucks, tractors and so on. This little boy wanted a harvesting machine. This is the result. I'm not thrilled with it but I guess it will do. All MMF. The lines on the front of the machine are drawn with a food coloring pen.

This was a fun cake to make! The mom wanted a barbie cake for her little girl, the girl wanted darth vader :) I thought that was too funny. They agreed on a girly darth vader cake and left me to figure out what that would be. This is what I came up with. Thought the hot pink color and the silver dragees would add the girly touch. Darth is MMF with RI piping.

Roary the racing car from the UK childrens TV show. I'm not happy with how Roary turned out, I have made a better version of him in the past. I hate making vehicles! Car, tractors, trucks... At least the flags turned out the way I planned, and the little boy looked happy :)
