Rose Cake
This cake was heavily inspired by Peggy Porshen, a true cake artist. Cake is a small 4 inch on top and 6 inch bottom. Gumpaste flowers, freehand roses made with round cutter and hydrangea from mold (Blossom Sugar Art). Pearls also made with a mold (First Impressions). Really, really love these colors...

Retro Cake
Unfortunately a quite poor photo, taken with my mobile phone. This is a 7 inch rich chocolate cake with three layers of oreo cream cheese frosting. Cake is covered in fondant, but the black parts are a mix of fondant/gumpaste as I find it easier to work with. "Grattis" is congratulations in Swedish!

Another Zebra Cake
Well, the design has been done before. And I have done it before! But it's so much fun and this is totally how to impress a bunch of 10-yearolds. Deep pink bottom tier is vanilla cake with raspberry buttercream and jam, pale pink top tier is dark chocolate with oreo cream cheese frosting. Zebra stripes, butterflies and bow is gumpaste, dots and border RI.

Molly's Cake
My daughter Molly has her birthday coming up tomorrow, and she wouldn?t settle with the clean & simple designs I like to do. On top of that she absolutely wanted 3D features on the cake and "not just flowers, mom". Need I say she?s a pianoplaying horse loving girl? Tiers are 4 and 6 inches, inside is a rich chocolate butter cake with oreo cream cheese filling. Let's hope she approves!

Little Vintage Wedding Cake
Friends of mine celebrating "porcelain wedding" wanted me to make a small cake for their family. My first thought was to make a cake with a little teacup (porcelain looking) with flowers in it, but it turned out to be too difficult for me. Need to practice on cups. Instead I made this vintage looking cake, 4 and 6 inches, with real lace and gumpaste roses. RI piping painted with luster dust.

Ryanair Launch Cake
I got the opportunity to make a big cake when Ryanair launched their new destination Skellefte? (Sweden) - Barcelona. I love how the moose turned out, even though it's "just" 2D. All text is piped with RI, I used a scriber needle first to outline the letters and to make sure it was coming on straight.

Wedding Cake
Tiers are 8-10-12 inches, fondant covered cake with gumpaste roses and RI piping. Lace ribbon is real. I have trouble to get the right bordeaux color, want it to be a young red wine but it always turns out very matured and brownish. How do you mix it? I use Americolor gel paste colors. Roses are made with regular round cutter, I thin out the edges and let the leaves dry a bit on spoons before adding them with tylo glue.

Rose Wedding Cake
I'm just soo happy with how this cake turned out! It's my first cake this size, tiers are 6-8-10-12 inches. Roses are freehand made from gumpaste with round cutter and styrofoam cone in the middle. Royal icing dots, took me four hours to finish! RI border as well. The cakes weight was 37 pounds! I used a home made plywood cake round in the bottom. My husband had to help me put in in and take it out of the fridge!

Cow Cake
I wanted to make a cow cake WITHOUT any grass, fence or cow spots. This is what I came up with! Cows are made of gumpaste. So are the numbers, I print them out from Word in the computer on cardboard, cut out the numbers with scissors and then trace them on the gumpaste with an exacto knife. Before they dry I stick in a tootpick.

Zebra With Shoe
Not too hard to pick a theme for this young lady, who likes the bling! Shoe is gumpaste painted with black disco glitter, as well as the numbers. Pearls are also gumpaste that I put on a thread as I was making them, and when dried I put them in a ziplock bag with pearl lustre dust and gave it a good shake. Plastic ribbon buckle. I found the zebra stripes were easier to make (with a pizza wheel cutter) when I mixed the fondant with half gumpaste. They look smoother, too! I rolled the black paste really, really thin so that it wouldn't effect the structure of the ribbon.

Cake Scrapbooking
My husband wanted to bring something nice to treat his work mates with, and I already had nine 4in cakes in the freezer so the choice was easy. Simply filled them with cream cheese frosting, and used fondant and decoration leftovers from previous cakes - it turned out better than I expected!

Pale Blue Cake
Cake inspired by Peggy Porschen and Cotton & Crumbs, 6" and 8" fondant cakes covered in fondant. Flowers and numbers in gumpaste, piping and border on top tier is royal icing. On bottom tier I was looking for a black lace in fabric but could just find this one, which I think is too thin.
