Cot Cake
Cot cake made from vanilla cake with ganache. Fondant cot frame. I had to travel with the cake and decided to assemble cot at the party. I wrapped the dry frame in bubble wrap. However by the time I unwrapped, the frame began to soften. It managed to stay up for photos but started to sag after a while. NOTE TO SELF: Bubble wrap makes fondant sweat and soften!!

Black And Ivory Graduation Cake
First time using Michelle Forster's Fondant. I found it better to use then MMF. It was more easier to roll out, held up in the heat. and tasted great under ganche. This cake was for my daughter's graduation party. (KG3). I loved making it and was really pleased that I didn't have to deal with elephant skin!! Would really recommend people trying this fondant. BTW thank you Michelle for sharing your recipe. Without people like you we beginners would not have a chance. Thank you for looking.

Race Track Cake
This cake was for my youngest son who is working towards memorising the Quran. What a disaster!!! I gave my self a day to make this cake, (including baking from scratch). Never again! Things were going well until I dropped the freshly baked cake after I cleaned the kitchen!! (I always wondered how people do this...now I know!) Nonetheless I manged after screaming at everyone to get out of my way and taking shortcuts like using chocolate squares for the side. The cake was supposed to be a surprise but my son being him found it!!! AHHHHH

Quran Cake
This was a very special cake made for my son who had finished memorising the Quran. We had a surprise party for him, and naturally I had to make the cake (He is mad about my cakes lol). Thank you so much to the many CC members who gave advice on how to travel with cakes and keeping them moist. They were a huge hit! TFL

Pink Tiara
This was for my daughter who had finished memorising the last part of the Quran. She is 5 years old and loves pink! I was so proud of her and the cake....vanilla with white chocolate ganache. MMF fondant. A big thank you to a number of CC members for advice about traveling with the cakes, and keeping them moist. TFL

Castle Cake
My word....this took such a long time, but I enjoyed every moment of it. But as my husband moved the cake, two turrets fell and crashed!!! The lady who wanted this cake requested it to be orange. I thought peach was a good compromise. The cake is a number of bakery bought pound cakes. I am living in furnished hotel accomodation (just moved countries.) We have a microwave but no oven. So I was able to make MMF, but not bake my cakes. I wasn't going to let the lack of an oven stop me from decorating!! Thank you very much for looking.
