It was for 3 birthdays people in one cake. So I made a football, mountain, and math numbers. The first few pics the posy pic isn't pushed in all the way. All those number didn't fit in the fridge. I pushed it in all the way when my friend picked it up.

This was for my friend. All white with silver, blue, and white stars. Lindy Smith inspired. My many many thanks to Jamie who saved my A** at the last hour....you are my hero!! The bride & groom loved it, and it was a big hit. I'm soooo relieved and tired. This was my second real wedding cake, and maybe 5th tiered cake. I'm so glad it is over. Thanks for looking.
Apple wedges, picture frame and PB&J sandwich that I made for my daughters school staff for Teacher Appreciation luncheon. That an apple wedge on the picture frame in case you're wondering. I had a hard time deciding what to make, and I think it shows. They were happy with it, so I am too, I guess.
About 125 cake truffle pops for a charity event I did. The teacup cake (close up) is also in my pics. The stands are styrofoam cones covered in fondant with sugar flowers. It was fun.
For my friends 40th birthday. The theme was TV shows from days gone by.
The whole this stood 16"wide and 21" tall. It was sooo hot this past Saturday (over 83 degrees outside and close to 90 degrees in the house where Elmo sat. Even though I cut the buttercream with shortening, it started to melt. I was expecting temps in the mid seventies. Oh well, at least there was room for him in the fridge.
What a weekend! My husband was just getting out of the hospital the day before the party. They thought he might be having a stroke, turned out to be a virus. His sister who was visiting was heading to the emergency room(her whole leg & thigh was red and swollen) the same time we were heading down to the bowling alley for my sons bday. All in all I think this cake turned out ok, considering. I was 30 min late to my own sons party because I was airbrushing it brown. Uhhhggg! All are fine, Josh is happy
I'm taking this one to Texas tomorrow, 5 hours on a plane with this cake and my 6 yr old. Keep agood thought. It's for my MILs 60th bday. She's not expecting me to bring one, so hopefully I will be able to surprise her if it makes it. Most of the flowers are purchased.
Whew...it's over. My first "real" wedding cake. I did 2 tiered cakes before, but this was my 1st real cake for a real wedding. 12, 9, and 6â. I didn't make the sugar flowers on this one (Caljava), although it took me hours to color them. The dragonflies I did make! They are sugarpaste bodies with rice paper wings, and painted with luster dust. Dotted with sugar diamds. The 35 minute road was soo steep & bumpy I had to assem. & decorate on-site. I made this as a practice cake, I have the real one due tomorrow. I know it has a few problems. Mainly the board, tail, and fin, but overall I thought it looked ok. What do you think? Thanks for looking.
I made this for a lady's 65th birthday. I really liked it, but there are a few changes I'll make to the next one. Not trilled with the handle....oh well, we are are own worst critics.
