Simple Baby Shower
This is the cake I made for my sister-in-law's baby shower. It was chocolate with chocolate chips...YUMMM! Didn't have a mold or anything for the blocks so I made them by hand and used a Gem cutter for the booties. Was very simple and, IMO, classy. Was very happy with how it turned out. TFL!

Bakugan - Abis Omega
Made for an adorable little boy who loved Bakugan! I have to say...this was a disaster for me! I know absolutely NOTHING about those toys and so I didn't have one to model it after...I went off pictures. Had no idea where to place the little "thingys" on the ball and the serpent was a nightmare to make since I wasn't sure how to make it up like that. After playing with it for a bit and finally figured something out. Oh...and u probably can't tell from the pic, but the the ball isn't a perfect ball either...looks more like an egg.. :-( *SIGH* Well, he seemed very happy with it and so did his mom so I guess that's all that matters. :-)

Hello Kitty *wink, Wink*
Made for my little cousin's birthday. I hope this is as close as I ever get to a cake disaster. The day was sooooo HOT that the fondant began to melt and the ears were separating from the body; there were so many flies around that we covered it up and what we used was wet so then there were water marks all over it and the wiskers broke off! Oh goodness! So we decided shortly after that we needed to eat it before it completely went to pieces! At least it still tasted really good (vanilla w/chocolate bavarian filling). TFL!

Elegant And Simple Wedding
Made for my cousin's wedding. This was a surprise for the bride. She initially didn't want a wedding cake since it was a fairly small family affair, but having a cousin who makes cakes, I couldn't allow that! So I made her one anyway and she was very happy with it...she cried! :-D TFL!!!

Orange/brown Purse
Made for a Ladie's purse, shoes and jewelry "get-together" a neighbor was having. She was so impressed with the cake that she asked me to make another one for her next get-together so she could put it in the middle of the purses and see if anyone notices that it's not really a purse! :-D TFL!

Soccer Themed Birthday
Made for a friend. Soccer ball is darn good chocolate cake (recipe from CC) and field is marble. Soccer player is gumpaste (made following aine2's wonderful instructions!). All letters and goal are made of candy melts. Candy cups filled with hazelnut creme and topped with soccer ball candy melts help adorn the cake board! TFL!!!

Fireman Helmet For Scott
Made for a friend's boyfriend. Took many pictures of his actual helmet and did my best to make it just like his. He was extremely happy with it and didn't want to cut into it....he made me do it!!!! OMGoodness!!! I was okay after the first couple slices LOL! I must say that I was very proud of this one and it's now my new favorite! Thanks for looking!

Shells Anniversary
Made for my mom and step-dad's anniversary. Inspiration from KimAZ's cake (which was amazing. Mine was W-A-A-A-AY below my expectations...but my mom was happy with it, and in my defense I had spent the previous two days in bed not feeling well.) All shells were white chocolate and covered with blue, violet and super pearl luster dusts. First time using the super pearl and now I'm a fan! TFL!

Steelers Helmet Cake
Another first! Made this for one of my mom's friends. Thanks so much to KittyKakes for her help and inspirational helmet cake! The cage gave me THE MOST trouble; I must of broken at least 7 of them before finally deciding to mend one and stick it on the cake anyway! Oh well. Came out okay, the recipient loved it and I learned a few lessons for next time. :0) TFL!
