Patriotic Cupcakes
These are for a BBQ tomorrow with friends. I decided to do a flag theme that many have done on here, but I changed it up a bit with a ruffled technique for each cupcake. I love how they turned out. I used Magnolia Bakery's vanilla cupcake recipe, vanilla SMBC filling and vanilla BC. Stars are fondant with pearl luster dust applied. TFL!

Whimsical 1St Birthday
This was an idea from Boween's beautiful cake for a 1st birthday. I messed up a lot on this cake, but learned so much from it. My icing was too soft (thanks to the heat!) so I had a lot of issues. Bottom cake is dark chocolate and top is WASC. Almond BC with fondant accents. Bows, butterflies are gumpaste.

Fall Cake
This cake was for a pampered chef, tupperware, and partylite party. The customer just wanted fall leaves and welcome written on it. Spice cake with BC frosting. Leaves are fondant. I didn't know what to do with the middle so I just added some candy leaves to it as well. Not my best cake that's for sure, but I had been sick all week before!
