Buttercream icing with a fondant flower applique. Because I was trying to cover up my sps plate and cake board I had to make the boarder so large that the applique pieces didnt quite fit as close as I would have like. Does anyone else have this problem with the sps system? Overall I liked the look, just want to fine tune it a bit more next time.

I did this cake to match a baby towel that the couple loved. The cake is covered in buttercream, the frogs and hammock is fondant/gum paste, the trees are straws covered in fondant and the plaque is gum paste. Oh, and the water is piping jel.

I made this cake for my son's 1st Birthday, buttercream icing with fondant waterfall, chocolate rocks, mmf/satin ice fondant/gum paste animals. (My first stab at making animals...
