The body of this duck is cake. The head and the tail are RCT.
Thank you to adams2shop and the many CCers who posted taco cupcakes. The sombrero is carved from the ball pan and some 8" rounds covered in fondant on a fondant covered tray. The taco shells are white and yellow chocolate mixed with chocolate graham crackers filled with cake (meat), coconut (lettuce), orange chocolate (cheese), BC (beans and sour cream), and gummy bears (tomato). They were fun to make and a HUGE hit at the party.
Gumpaste flowers, fondant "stems." The cakes are 12", 9", and 6" with the ball pan on top. These are my first gumpaste flowers. I made them on uncooked spaghetti because I couldn't stand the thought of all those wires in my cake!
This cake is nine 9" rounds cut in half. It was about 2 feet long when finished. Buttercream with fondant accents. Inspired by cakes from CakeL8T and bubbles4500.
Vanilla and chocolate cupcakes.
2 6 and an 8 chocolate cakes with chocolate chip cookie inside and with ganache frosting and filling. Wrapped in chocolate with chocolate curls. Luster dust stenciled on the sides. First time trying luster dust on chocolate with mixed success.
Lemon and chocolate cupcakes. Edible image is the fabric for the nursery.
The cake is covered in a combination of BC and MMF. Bows and booties are gumpaste. It was a lot of fun to make and Iâm told the ears look just like Dadâs! Bottom cake is a half sheet. Box is an 8â square and the head is the ball pan. The box top is Styrofoam covered in MMF. Thanks to anytracy1981 for her inspiration.
An 8" cake and 50 cupcakes. Chocolate coral, pails, and shells, fondant sea creatures and flip flops, gumpaste umbrellas and suns rays. BC frosting. Carrot cake, lemon cupcakes filled with lemon curd, chocolate cupcakes filled with chocolate mousse.
These are edible images that go all the way around the cake with fondant frames, buttercream frosting, and cupcake grad hat. The figures on the top are gumpaste dancers since the graduate will be entering a dance program next year.

This is a chocolate cake with raspberry and ganache fillings. It is covered in ganache with fondant and luster dust decorations and bow.
Monster Trucks and an Erupting Volcano! Trucks are RCTs covered with chocolate. Cake is iced in BC with cookie "dirt." Fondant, gumpaste, and royal accents.
This is a chocolate wrap around a white chocolate and chocolate checkerboard cake.
Chcocolate cake in BC. Kittens are mini sports balls in BC. Accents and flowers are MMF.
This is my replica of my parent's goldendoodle puppy. Thank you so much to everyone whose puppy cakes gave me ideas and inspiration.
This is my first cupcake bouquet. It proved a bit unstable so I had to put it back together with the cupcakes all facing upright. It did survive delivery!
4", 3", and 2" layers covered with MMF. Decorations are buttercream. Roses and leaves are MMF.

I made these mini cakes for a bridal shower. Each is on a 4" base. They are a chocolate wrap with chocolate mousse, the white one is lemon cake with cheesecake filling, and the blue one is white cake with raspberry filling. Thanks to all the CCers who inspired them.
