Bowling Shoes? Or Cake?
If I had to guess, I'd say they are about a size 13! Both shoes cut out of a 9x13 cake and then slightly carved. One of the girls is turning 60 and the other loves peace signs. It was right after I took the pictures that I noticed the peace sign wasn't right, so I quickly fixed it but didn't have time for more pictures before it was picked up.

Collection Of Gift Bags
This Collection of Gift Bags was my last entry into the Michigan Sugar Art Showcase Competition on March 20-21, 2010. I fought with these things like there was no tomorrow, they were inches from the trash on numerous occasions. I was entered into the Advances Professional Division and they took 1st place in the Specialties Category. Again, a shock for me as I have never entered a competition before.

My Fantasy Garden
I entered this cake into the Michigan Sugar Art Showcase Competition March 20-21, 2010. Having never competited before I had no expectations of winning so I was SHOCKED when I won 1st Place in the Advanced Professional Division for tiered cakes, Best of Division, Decorator's Choice and Best of Show. It was an overwhelming weekend!

A Toast To The Bride
For a kitchen themed bridal shower with royal blue and pale yellow as the colors. Started out as a 10" square, strawberry/vanilla swirl cake with buttercream, covered in fondant. The toast is flattened Rice Krispie Treats. Thanks to the numerous "toaster-masters' that have come before me here on CC for the inspriation.

Candle Centerpiece
This is a centerpiece I did for a dessert buffet table. We did not cut into this cake as I will now donate it to the local National Guard Unit. For the candles I used 3 & 4" pans. Covered in fondant and the poinsettia is something I did at a cake club meeting a couple of years ago and never used. I filled in the back side of the poinsettia with bow loops. Thanks for looking, Lisa

Cherry Blossoms
This was for a very small wedding the day after Thanksgiving. The bride emailed me saying "this just isn't something I've been dreaming of since I was 12yrs old. Nothing fancy, maybe an octopus on top." She was, of course, joking. Really just trying to ruffle her Mom's feathers. I couldn't resist and gave her two options for the top of the cake. I still don't know which she used.
