bride also ordered a birthday cake for her cousin who's birthday was the same day as her wedding. It was very cute, after they cut the cake, they sang happy birthday to the little girl (who turned 7). It was very thoughtful of the bride, imo, very sweet. :)
The brown ribbons are fondant, the orange roses are gumpaste. It matched the theme very well, I was a little scared because of the colors, but it looked great and the bride was pleased. Bottom tier was choc cake with rasp. filling, middle was champagne cake with strawberry filling, top tier was white cake with lemon curd. It was pretty tasty if I do say so myself. :) I got to attend the wedding, so I got to taste the finished cake, which I always like to do. :)
This is actually just a color change from the strawberry shortcake one in the Wilton Yearbook. This was for my daughter's 6th birthday. :)
