This was for my sister who likes bows and polka dots and black and white. It was a chocolate mud cake filled with a crazy raspberry cream cheese filling that I made up as I went along. lol
I made this for my friends daughters 2nd birthday. She wanted care bears so this is my twist on the care bears cake kit(without the kit :) )
I didn't make this to decorate which is why it's covered poorly. But I agreed to do a topsy turvey for a 21st next week and I'd never done one before, I actually had a nightmare about this cake on sunday, haha so yesterday I decided to have a practice run in miniature version, so It's much smaller than the intended cake, but I'm really happy with the shape and the way it looks, and am much more confident that I can do the real thing. :)
I made this for my 25th birthday last week. it's my own twist on a peggy porschen cake. I loved the flowers on it. and I'm really proud of the way it all came together.
This was for my friends girlfriends 18th. I had so much fun making this cake. I designed the graffiti myself, and had it printed on edible paper. It's the first sheet cake I've done. and I'm thrilled with how it turned out!
There was problem after problem with this cake. too much for such a small cake. haha but it turned out ok. :) it's a chocolate mud with ganache and decorated with purple orchids.

These were done for a fashion show and handed out to people in the crowd. they were so much fun to make and cupcakes will always be my favorite thing!

This cake was a nightmare because the lady wanted to bake the cake herself and she didn't want me trimming it or too much rolled icing on it either. The cake was a VERY chunky fruit cake and as much as I tried to putty it up, it was still bumpy and I ended up having to put a second layer of rolled icing on it. lol she didn't mind in the end. I'd never done sugared roses before so that part was fun.
This was my first cake for class. I've done plenty of chocolate cakes before and I loved doing it. In the end the cake weighed in at 2.5 kg. hehehe

I did a 4 week cake course earlier this year and this was for my final class. Lemon butter cake with layers of raspberry and lemon buttercream. :)
