First Real Wedding Cake
How shiny, and I don't know why!!! There were many lessons learned from this cake, but itwas fun to do! I was unhappy with the flowers the florist supplied, and had I not had to pick up the inlaws at the airport, I would have gone and bought more gerbera daisies to fix the problem. Both the white daisies were almost dead when I got them - good thing for picks... Thanks for looking

Blue Lightening Mcqueen
When I asked the little boy what he wanted for his birthday cake he told me "blue lightening mcqueen with spiders. I had to watch the movie again just so I could find the part, freeze the movie and kinda sketch the spark plug "spiders" and go from there. Lightening mcqueen is pieced together fondant. TFL!!!

My Very Quick Chanel Cake
I made this cake for my 17 year old's birthday as I had 25 teenagers at my house. It took 1 and 1/2 hours to complete - including making more icing because of couse it would slide off the cake and bring crumbs with it... that's what happens when you rush! She liked it, it was served outside in the dark so no one noticed the big split in the top! tfl!

Garden Gnome
This cake was made for a man who is a big cheese for a union, and when anyone asks him a question that he can't answer, or doesn't know the answer to he always says "only the gnomes know". Vanilla cake, buttercream filling. I put a lot of time into the details, that I ran out of time. It does not seem finished to me....tfl!

This was made for a lady at work leaving on mat leave. Carrot cake, cream cheese icing. Never again will I try to decorate a cake with cream cheese icing - very tempermental! The cake had cracks and chunks - difficult to smooth and turned out not very nice. Everyone did say it tasted good though - I guess its all that counts in the long run! Fondant peiced together to make mod mon. thanks for looking!

Fastball Cookies
these were made for my daughter's team. The team went to Provincials and came in 8th out of all of Ontario. Better than a kick in the pants. The girls play fastball with the yellow balls, so I took a tiny drop of my electric yellow air brush color to get the color of the ball perfect. Sugar cookie, rolled buttercream, and buttercream stitchingand lettering. thanks for looking!

The bride to be wanted all the seasons... this is what I came up with. Christine and her wedding party came over and decorated the cookies she had me make. I rolled the buttercream and they adhered and decorated with royal icing. The cookies were attached to ducks of every season. I incorporated the ducks into the cakes!
