Mario Kart
My son has given me somewhat challenging choice with 10 days to the party. A few too may hot days in-between and I was thinking of places that might sell ready made cakes for a backup! It all came together in the end but not without a glitch. On the day of the b'day turned out to be a very hot day and there was no fridge I could use! The trees all had a trunk... but by the time we lit up the candles I had to remove them. Lucky I bought some spare pieces as one of the mushrooms and the flower in the back had to be replaced! Everything is edible with the exception of the skewers used as support and the wire holding the banner!

Suitcase
This is a cake I made for my Manager's birthday, it is a copy of his own suitcase. Everything is edible including the mug filled with haselnut mousse. This is the first time I used black purchased ready made and it will definetly be the last. It's been very dificult to work with as it crumbles very easy due to high quantities of colouring required to get the real black. Even rolled out at 3-4mm thickness I founded very dificult to lift it of the board.

Kangaroo
This is one of my first cakes, The kangaroo is made out of sugarpaste, I borrowed 16 books from the local libray with all different angled photographs of kangaroos. 3 days later, I managed to get a very detailed body with all muscles hair and face that looked just like the real thing! Unfortunately the Camera used does not show enough detail. I did find another angle on another photo wich I placed it on the top left corner but sadly by then it was already decapitated.

Chapel
My last Wedding Cake! Too stressfull!!! This was also my first attempt at stringwork! I had no ideea what i was asking for! To make it more obvious and more interesting I made it hanging app. 8mm from the cake. Eact time I managed 3-4 strings the weight would pull them down! Disaster!!! So I found a solution! Connect 2 and dry them off with the hairdrier! It worked! 7 Hours later including all the attempts i finally got it! That's for stringwork alone!
