Bulldozer Cake
This was for a 3 year-olds birthday. I was told to do something with construction. I showed the mom the toy and she loved the idea of making it into a cake. I am trying to build my experience with carving, and fondant, so I may have bit off more than I could chew, but it was fun trying. I gave the little boy the toy to match his cake. Both are pictured here so you can see what I was trying to achieve.

Princess Baby Shower
Thank you to Sugarnut for the pattern for the carriage and horses in the gallery. These are made from royal icing. They are dry brushed with pearl dust to give them some shimmer. The mommy to be was so happy. I also did a castle cake to go with this one. The carriage was to deliver the new princess to her new castle.

Quilt Cake
11x15 french vanilla cake. My only freezer is a side by side :( So the only way I could think to do this was for each square to be a FBCT. It was a bit of a trick to get them all the same thickness. The 86 year old recipient loved it and said she had actually made a quilt that was represented by each square.

Johndeere Tractor Cake
Thanks to All4cake for the template in the gallery and answering my questions about making this cake. It is my first real attempt at carving and is made from a 11x15 and a 6 inch round. It is also my first attempt at covering a irregular shaped cake with fondant. Tractor, hay, cart, and wheels are all cake. Birthday boy was very happy and so was his mom!

Pollack Bridal Shower
Well this was a oops! It was supposed to be 3 stacked squares with the bottom layer a dummy. So I did the dummy 14inch square, and then for some strange reason I baked 2 rounds!!! No problem I will re-bake--couldn't find my 10 inch square pan!!UGGH I called her and she said no problem do whatever I wanted. So bottom is 14 inch square dummy, then 10 inch round choc. cake with raspberry filling, and 6 inch round french vanilla with BC filling, top is a 6 inch square dummy. MMF bows and real ribbon.

My Version Of Earlene Moore's Grooms Cake.
I e-mailed Earlene Moore and she gave me permission to use her design for my own creation. This cake is based on 2 of hers and a bit of my own creativity. It was for a man's 80th birthday. Bottom cake is 12 inch choc with two tone basketweave. Top cake is 6 inch choc. covered with choc ganache. The fisherman and fish are choc. transfers.

Baby Shower Basinette
I have done this cake before for another occasion. The instructions were origionally shared with me from Sarahcakes. I am very proud of this version, although with any decorator there are still things I would do different the next time around! 71/2 inch oval, marble cake ,choc chip filling, gumpaste hood and brim, MMF accents. My first attempt at modeling, and the wood floor.

Mariah's Birthday Cake
Thank you to Cakesbyallison for the inspiration behind this cake. This was for a 14 year old girl who wasn't sure what she wanted-just make it green, yellow, and pink-girly, but not to girly....She jumped up and down speechless for 5 min when I delivered it! Bottom is 12 inch choc. Middle 8 inch yellow, top 6 inch dummy. Bow is MMF and MMF accents.
