baby cake I did for my very dear friend's shower today...I got inspiration from the many lovely teddy bear cakes posted and just sort of put my own spin on it...lettering bears idea came from Maisie Parrish design. She was so touched, it was really nice...oh and I couldn't think of something to match with the bears but I thought a scattering of buttons might be cute..I like the effect! Thanks for looking

Birthday cake for a 6 year old child who loves all things "fireman"...so I did a helmet for him...at the fire station, they gave me a pin and a crest so I incorporated them into the design....chocolate cake covered in fondant. The kitchen cake for my daisies and raffia wedding cake...this is an 11 x 15 x4. All iced in vanilla SMBC, filled with choc SMBC and it is a choc/vanilla scratch cake...I know it is plain but I wanted it to sort of match the wedding cake although it really won't be seen...Thanks for looking
This is my first ever wedding cake...I did a practice one a few weeks ago to see if I could do it and today was the real thing! It is a country type wedding so I tried to give it a "Martha" feel! This was my suggestion to her and she loved it..she didn't really have any sort of idea other than "simple" and "country" and I think I achieved that judging how pleased she was..All scratch cake vanilla on bottom w/ raspberry SMBC and the others are choc tiers with choc SMBC..daisies are GP

gumpaste fondant mix..made with my pattern which is in my photos...but I decided to do a Franmjc bow on them and I think they turned out very cute ...I am sending these from Ottawa to Edmonton by mail for my sister to put on a cake top for her friend!!! Practicing for an upcoming wedding cake (my first)...she is relaxed about design but doesn't want too many flowers...loves daisies and the raffia look...so this is my attempt..first time stacking 3 tiers..I see all my mistakes but hopefully, I will get another chance to do one before the real thing...WASC changed to lemon zest and lemon flavour, SMBC with raspberry for bottom, SMBC with mango/orange for middle and SMBC with pineapple/coconut for top...flowers are silk for this practice .Thanks for looking!

cake for a little boy who loves Webkinz..this is my interpretation ...he has a panda named bamboo.. I modeled the panda from fondant/gumtex and piped the fur on with tip #1..tried the grass tip but it was too big for the panda..this is an 8" cake..choc scratch cake with choc SMBC icing..bamboo is modeled with same but over bubble tea straws..nice and light ..leaves just cute by hand and veined.. This is a birthday cake I did for my manager's daughter...she was my summer student and a lovely girl so I told my boss I would make her a cake as a present..this is what I came up with..it is scratch chocolate with chocolate Rolo SMBC filling and vanilla SMBC icing with fondant accents..the choc fondant I made from Toba G's recipe..delish and recommended!!! Here is the 2nd baby shower cake for the same girl as my last baby shower cake..this one is spots and stripes matching the cake board ribbon and the baby topper I posted a few days ago. SMBC with fondant accents. This is 10" and 8" and they are both 4" high so a pretty big cake! I used Aine2's fab tutorial for the baby topper
This is a baby shower ...the first of 2 for the same Mum-to-be...this is the one for work and then there is one for Sunday which is not completed yet. I had fun doing the baby but had a bit of difficulty icing the square cake..hats off to those who do these regularly! thanks to Franjmc and Aine2 for their tutorials!!!

I modeled the unicorn and fairy and the cake is scratch chocolate with chocolate SMBC filling and SMBC icing...bow is gumpaste and figures are fondant/gumtex..flowers are fondant..for a 6 year old's birthday..they saw my first cake in a pic and wanted the "same but different"..hope I achieved that..they were very happy when I dropped it..thanks to Aine2, Liis, Shirley and Katharry for their help in originally showing me how to do stuff...
This was a going away cake for 3 guys who are leaving our company..originally it was for just 1 guy ...but then it turned into 3 guys and 110 attendees...sooo I had to make 80 mini cupcakes to go with it..SMBC icing and filling, scratch chocolate cake..Thanks so much to Katharry whose cake was the inspiration for this..cupcakes have choc raisins on top to simulate sheep doo doo..lol...they loved it!!
