This is for my brother's girlfriend's Dad. They lovingly refer to him as One-Way because he's rather stubborn. So I made a cake with a one way road, that eventually leads to a cliff. Everyone thought it was hysterical! This is a topsy turvy cake but from the angle I've photographed it, it doesn't really come across that way. TFL!

Baby Shower
A couple of firsts here... my first booties! Thanks Stellastarchild for your wonderful template! And this is my first baby figure, which I molded to match the bedding. They didn't know the sex at the time so I went neutral with green since they wanted chocolate buttercream. The baby has since arrived and is a very healthy baby girl!

Spongebob Cake
I made this a friends 2 yr old daughter. the main color scheme inspiration was pulled from a cake made by Clairy and the characters were from a cake that Arnab made. Both were fantastic inspirations. It's all buttercream that was spray painted with gold luster, all the decorations are fondant and/or gumpaste. This was alot of fun!

Anniversary Cake
This is an anniversary cake, the couple filled the church with pink and white roses on their wedding day so that's what they wanted their cake to look like. I need to get a better camera, all my pictures are always so fuzzy and the flash washes out the colors, this was actually a dark brown with vibrant pink roses.

Books
Well... this is believe it or not, my largest cake to date, My first 4 tier cake and of course, I mentioned this to my hubby and he says, well I hope it doesnât fall! It is two 10x8in rectangles topped with two 8x6 inch rectangles. I should have used fondant but instead I went with all buttercream. It was hard to get them smooth but the teachers all agreed, they'd rather have buttercream than fondant so I'm glad I did it this way. This is for a teacher in service day at the local high school.

Fire!
I made this cake for my hubby's best friend, it was very last minute and this is all I could think of since he is a NY fire fighter. I'm also testing a new recipe, I made a vanilla spice cake with apple filling and IMBC, I hope it tastes good! the flames and lettering are fondant, brushed with luster dust. First time using my new letter set too, it was rather time consuming.

I made this cake for my grandmother. It is a 100% knockoff of a fantastic cake by helipops. This was the first time I made a bow and boy did I have a tough time, it is way too humid right now so it sort of smooshed once I assembled it. Lesson learned for next time, make the bow a few days in advance, 24 hours is not enough : ) Here is a link to the original, i don't know if this will work, it was so beautiful! http://cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=232883

Mini Purses
So my daughters and I made purses the other day. They are ages 5 and 3 and they painted their purses with luster dust. I made the purses using small ramekins; I cut off the bottom so it was flat and then covered them in fondant and they did the rest. They have gumpaste handles. They had so much fun!

Ocean Birthday
I made this cake for my sisters 18th birthday. Itâs only mildly topsy turvy (chickened out after my last disaster!) covered in buttercream, with 50/50 fondant & gum paste decorations. I sprayed the whole cake with blue luster dust so it was super sparkly and every decoration had tons of sparkle. So much fun to make! I found so many great ideas here on CC, primarily from Ksimp6577 and sugarplumstudio though. Thanks !!!
