I tried to make a cake that looked like ellyrae's. Her cake is so beautiful. MMF with chocolate rocks. My butterflies weren't turning out, so these aren't real.
This cake of course, was inspired by a combination of cakes on this site. It's strawberry with buttercream frosting on the bottom and chocolate with whipped frosting for the lady bug. MMF face.

This cake was made by our whole "Camacho" family. We got the idea from a magazine, I think it was Family Fun. I have also seen it in Taste of Home and even this website now. We didn't have a sheet cake pan at the time, but it was still fun and delicious to create our own land! Yes, little fingers got into it at the bottom~
This cake is made with a whipped frosting. The candies are m and m's that are made into flowers.
I made this in a Wilton 1 course. The buttercream is a little sweet for me, so I added cocoa powder. It makes it a more chocolatey flavor, and less sweet. It also looks nice with the pink roses.

I loved the idea though. Thank you! The textures on some of the sections are a little different because some are whipped frosting and some are buttercream.
Everything is buttercream. Gummie lifesavers for the eyes and gel pens for the red and black parts of the eyes.
