So, my kitchen is so bright that I can't get a good picture of my cakes until it is dark outside. But I had to deliver this before it got dark, so I don't have a really good picture of it. I'm hoping the mom of the birthday girl got a better one. This is K's princess cake with fondant decorations, painted with white pearl dust. It is darker pink than the picture shows. Princess Cake Bottom tier~ yellow cake with butter cream filling and icing. Top tier~ white cake with butter cream filling and icing. Smash cake~ white with butter cream.
My son finally did his business on the potty so we had a party! He requested a cake with his cars guys on it. This was SO last minute so I just cut pictures out of a cheap book and stuck them on cookie pop sticks. I literally did this while he took a nap, so it was pretty much thrown together. But he was very impressed, of course he is three! Oh well! tfl.

Also added stars on wires when I got to the party, but couldn't get a good picture in the light at the party. All the colors looked neon in the flourescent lights. tfl.

On Tuesday I got a call from the Animal Hospital that someone had brought Mike in. I was really confused becuase I thought he had been sleeping on the living room floor all day like he always does. Apparently he was roaming the streets for most of the day and since he doesn't wear a collar (i know) the guys at the local auto body shop (where he ended up) took him to the animal hospital. Good thing they did because Mike had a microchip in his neck with all our info on it and they were able to call me right way. SO, long story short, I took this cake up to the guys at the shop today to thank them for taking such good care of Mike the dog. 8" butter cake with Butter Cream filling and icing.
