Made this for my friend's husband's birthday. It was just them celebrating so they needed a small cake. Two layer 6" chocolate with buttercream.
wilton king size cupcakes, lemon cake, almond buttercream. RI drop flowers. I made these for fun, but add some BC leaves and a ribbon bow around the cupcake liner and you have a mini-bouquet. Got the idea from bake, decorate, celebrate. TFL.
Just for fun on a friday afternoon, I made a three layer pineapple cake with pineapple-orange filling (from the cake doctor book) with buttercream. Then my two year old said I shoule put his name on it, so I ended up putting everyone in the family on it and it became a family cake! Top is 2C drop flowers with #12 dots in center of flowers and on border. I wish I had done a shell bprder, this cake was too tall for the dot border. Oh well!
10x10 square chocolate with coconut buttercream and coconut filling. Cornflower blue drop flowers. This was just for fun, but I think it would be really cute a the bottom layer in a three tier baby shower cake. I would probably do the middle layer in sage green and top layer in yellow.
