King And Queen Of Hearts Cake
This was a wedding cake for a couple married in Vegas. They wanted it simple, and wanted to include 4-leaf clovers. I used clover cookie cutters to cut out the fondant, then traced over them with black royal icing. The bottom layer alternated hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs. I used miniature red, black and white dice for the border. The King and Queen of Hearts cards were used in place of a cake topper.

Purse Cake
This is my purse cake that I made. I was nervous to make this cake, but the instructions on how to make a purse cake were so easy and simple to follow. This was a three layer vanilla cake with banana cream pie filling, buttercream frosting, and fondant accents. It was really funny. I wanted to use the "Viva paper towel method" on it, but only had cheap paper towels that were heavily embossed. You can slightly see the print. It made it look like textured leather.

White Chocolate Fondant Baptism Cake
This was my first attempt at fondant. I used the white chocolate paste recipe from this site, and it was TO DIE FOR. It cut perfectly into clean little pieces. It was an 3 layer lemon cake, homemade raspberry filling inbetween the bottom layers, and a white chocolate mousse inbetween the top layers. White chocolate paste to cover it, and written with melted white chocolate.

Pink And Black Vintage Cake
I made this cake for my cousin's wedding. It was alternating layers of vanilla and chocolate cake, frosted completely in a soft pink buttercream. I accented the layers with black buttercream polka dots, and black satin ribbon and bows. For added texture, I covered the center layer completely with the star tip. I used 24 fresh pink roses to finish the cake. I like to call this my "Audrey Hepburn" cake, because it reminds me so much of the era. Thank you so much for looking at my cake.
