Couple got married in the Florida Keys & had a reception at home. Their invitation had flips flops on on it and I thought that flip flop cookies & chocolate flipflops on the cupcakes would be cute. The cupcakes are chocolate w/peanutbutter filling, carmel w/chocolate filling & white cake w/raspberry filing, BC frosting. My DH made me the cupcake stands.
BC frosting & flowers, was a quick class cake, we were practicing different ways to put flowers on a cake. That is why one side in not complete.
Second part of 1/4 sheet of roses
Roses...this is my first all roses cake. What fun...sort of...not all that bad, had some difficulty at the beginning, but figured it out. I will continue to make roses. Did a 1/4 sheet cut in 3rds, creating smaller cakes.
Got carried away with the pink for the base BC. This was a class cake on more flowers.

Since Easter is only a few weeks away, I thought I would upload my Easter cake from class last spring. Better late than never, they say. I was really proud of this cake. The top of the cake is decorated with molded chocolates. I ended up freezing the cake and a friend of mine wanted it for their Easter get together.
The graduate wanted the colors to match the party streamers she was having at her party. So I did a streamer cake that matched. She loved it.
Did this cake for a friend, who's daughter is into riding horses. 1/2 Chocolate cake & 1/2 white cake w/BC, edible pic and colored chocolates.
1st time making MMF, decided to make cut outs & painted them w/corn syrup/gel color mix. Cake is cherry chip w/raspberry filling, frosted w/BC.
A friend got married in Vegas and had a small reception at home, asked if I could do a 1/2 sheet cake for them. Their colors were pink, white & silver. The cake is 1/2 chocolate and 1/2 white w/raspberry buttercream filling, frosted with 2 types of buttercream. The silver swirls were clear gel w/silver dust mix in.
They say flattery is the best compliament, I got the design idea from a photo on the website and copied some of the detail. The cake is chocolate filled w/chocolate mousse, frosted in buttercream.
