this was a single layer 10" and 8" round with the half ball pan on top for the dress. Dora is a plastic "ballerina dora" I found at wally world. She was sunk into the round mold just as you would any doll cake. Used a stone impression mat on the buttercream. Whole cake is BC, except castle door, name and cones which are fondant. TFL.

I got some inspiration from different cakes on here as well as the party decor. The rainbow is colored candy melts, and the stars and heart are fondant. The stars with the care bear faces are rings pushed into the cake. The rest is BC. TFL!
this is an interpretation of a cake a customer emailed me a picture of. She wanted a few minor changes to the design, but it was pretty straight forward otherwise. The figures and logo sign are from a kit. All else is fondant over yellow butter cake. TFL!

this is my very first time making gumpaste flowers! I watched edna's youtube tutorial, and it was a huge help!! I also tried a stucco or "tuscan" finish on the cake, which turned out to be hard to do since I spend most of my time trying to make cakes look the opposite. But all in all, for a round of firsts, I am very happy with outcome. TFL!

This was done after looking at some great idea cakes here on CC. Elmo is a large (overbaked) sugar cookie, frosted and affixed with a wafer paper Elmo. Cake is buttercream. TFL.

this was a white chocolate cheesecake, done in a surfing theme, with whipped cream on top and graham cracker beach. Cream was airbrushed to give an ocean affect. Towel, surf board, flip flops, sunscreen and glasses are fondant. TFL.

this cake is directly inspired by a cake here on CC. I only made minor changes to the design, and lucked out in finding the little plush topper at Target. Everything else is edible, most is covered with fondant. TFL.
cupcakes are rainbow layered cupcakes. (see my gallery for a picture of the inside of these) Hello Kitty is royal icing plaque, using the flow technique. BC icing and sugar sprinkles. TFL!
this is my version of a cake that's been copied a lot. The bride requested the design, and I can't off the top of my head remember the original designer. But, I think I did a decent take on it, and am happy with the results. TFL!
I used a DecoPac kit, and some of the musical note cupcake picks to decorate this two tiered cake. I cut the pick ends off the colored notes that came with the kit, and suspended them from wire. I used an airbrush for the yellow, and red buttercream for the bottom borders. The top tier is a stage cake set-up, with a curtain, and the birthday message. TFL!
this was a topper for a baby shower cake. baby has a minnesota vikings jersey on, with it's last name on the back. All was fondant paste. TFL
this one was custom, by request, to be a red headed baby. Also had to have a red star on it, because the Dad to Be was an Alabama fan. TFL
I was really happy with the turnout on this one. It's only my third wedding cake ever, so again, a learning experience. TFL
3D pig, made from stand up rabbit mold, shaped and covered in fondant. Sitting on sheet cake, accented with fondant flowers and a fondant paste fence. TFL!
this is a close up of the figure on top of the cowboy cake. I was really pleased with how he turned out! The hat was a little challenging though, lol. TFL
this cake was done to emulate a cake that was sent to my email. The girl really liked the design, and so did I! I did add a few of my own personal touches to the cake, like the figure on top, and a decorative themed base. TFL!
