this was made for a going away party for a teacher. I was only given simple features about the lady to work with, so it's kind of generalized, but I think it turned out well! The glasses are made from floral wire, wrapped around the end of a paint brush, and shaped. All is fondant paste, otherwise. TFL
Cake was carved from a half sheet. All was iced in BC, then sprayed with silver. Logo was an edible image, changed to say the birthday boy's name instead of "Stanley". TFL

This was done to match the Pretty Pony decor from Party Express. It's the lamb pan mold, except the head which is RCT. The main and tail are BC, with fondant flowers. Eyes were painted on. My only flub really was the feet, a little too small on the body, but other than that, I think it looks pretty good. :-D
thought this turned out pretty cute. All BC, except bees and ladybugs. They are sugar accents I ordered. TFL!
this is my take on a fellow CCer's wonderful design. Mine's not nearly as good. But it was a lot of fun to make! Triple layer choc. cake, covered in fondant, Pooh is fondant over rice crispy treat, and 'honey" is BC. TFL.
a topper for a cake, by request, the evil monkey from Family Guy. He's choc. fondant, some fondant paste, overlayed on rice crispy treat. He has one skewer through his extended arm leading into his head. TFL!
these were for a trio of cakes for a combined 1st and 2nd birthday party. I was really happy with the way they came out, this being the first time I've tried to mimic a preset character, or three. All are fondant paste. TFL!

this was supposed to be more Candyland the land, than Candyland the game. I really tried to make it look clean, and not so "slapped a ton of candy on a cake". I think it turned out sweet, excuse the pun. :-D
little angel bear for a baby shower sheet cake. Fondant paste, and pearl dust accenting. TFL
thought this was worth it so you could see the sails and such. I used a scentless incent stick to make burn holes in the black paper. I thought it added a neat affect! The rope rigging on the back is piped royal icing.
had a bunch of inspiration from CCers on this one! And the fact that my little brother was OBSESSED with these when he was small, lol. The topper is fondant paste on two 6" cake rounds. The weapons are also fondant paste. TFL!
another Bud Light cake, done this time without cans and including a kind of cruddy 'bottle cap'. Happy with the shading, but the neck could be longer. TFL

Was really happy with the outcome of this one. Customer sent me a picture of another cake she liked, and I tried my best to make it look like that. I used royal icing for the heart turrets, and covered the cones with first pink royal icing, then pink sugar and let them dry suspended on skewers. Covered the cake cones with fondant, and the rest is BC. The figures are plastic.
This was a smash cake made for a little boy's 1st birthday. I used the mini bear pan, cut and repositioned the ears with royal icing, and decorated him with BC. Oh, and I hollowed him and filled him with chocolate mousse, by request. Cute little guy!
another baby shower cake I did this weekend. Used a tutorial I purchased to make the topper, found that I really enjoy working with fondant paste. :-D
A baby shower cake I did today, elephants by request. I have just started making figures out of paste, and am using aine2's video tutorials with great results! Really proud of this cake!
I was super pleased with how this one turned out!! And I totally think my new airbrush machine was a good investment...everything was covered in BC, smoothed and airbrushed. Then all the lettering and accents were added, free-hand. Oh, and I used luster dust in the airbrush for the cans. Hooray. :-D
Cake was done for a friend, coming home from deployment, for his wife and kids. FBCT, on chocolate BC iced french vanilla cake. I love pirate Sponge Bob
Darth Vader and Storm trooper, cakes cut to shape, then iced and topped with FBCT of masks. Each was carved from a half sheet.
