Baby Girl Shower Cake
Two 8-inch and two 6-inch cakes decorated with BC. The baby, blanket and the letters to make the word Baby were all made with MMF. I was happy with the MMF baby but I still need practice with stacking cakes and I learned I really need a plan when doing polka dots, random polka dot are not my thing - LOL!

Field Day Trophy Cake
This 11 x 15 cake is decorated in B/C with fondant decorations. I drew a pattern for the trophy then placed it on top of my MMF and cut around it with an exacto knife . I made the stars using the star fondant cutters and for the field day banner I cut a rectangle and snipped the ends. It's kind of hard to see but I added differnt size fondant stars around the sides of the cake too.

Bee Hive & Flowers Birthday Cake
This cake was made with 2 12-inch rounds and decorated with B/C and also fondant accents. The bee hive was made with the mini-wonder mold pan and then also decorated with B/C. My customer asked for something girly with lots of spring flowers and this is what I came up with; this is now my new favorite cake! I love Cake Central, it so easy to find inspiration here!

Super Hero Cake
I made this cake for a little boy who just couldn't make his mind up so we ended up with a Spiderman, Power Ranger, Batman Cake. This is a 13 x9 cake so I didn't have a lot of room for the bday msg so again I pulled out my scrapbook supplies and created the comic book like msg and attached them to lollipop sticks.

Easter Bunny Cupcakes
I borrowed this idea from the Wilton Cupcakes and more book. I used fondant cut-outs for the bunny heads instead of cookies as stated in the Wilton directions. Buttercream was used to decorate the heads and also for the arms. Candy corn topped with BC were used for the carrots. My customer loved them.

Childs Horse Birthday Cake
I am so excited, this is my first attempt at a horse cake and I am so happy with the results. I made this cake for a little girl turning 7, she requested the horse have a bridle and carrots; which is what her horse loves to eat. Bottom cake is a 9 x13 and I used the lamb pan to make the horse. Everything is BC except the flowers and carrots which are fondant. I didn't have a lot of room to write the Bday msg so I pulled out my trusty scrapbook tools and crafted a blue ribbon to write my msg.

Bowling Cake Squares
I made these cake squares for my youngest son, he shared them at his pre-school on his birthday. He loves to play bowling on the Wii, so I decided on the bowling design which is all B/C. Including the 3 teachers there are 33 people at his preschool so I opted for the cake squares rather than trying to make 33 cupcakes - saved me a lot of time & ingredients! LOL By the way this is a 13 x 9 cake that I cut into 35 cake squares.

Dirt Bike Race Track Cake
Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the cake with the 2 dirt bikes on it but this is a dirt bike track I made for a customer. The cake is a 15 x 11 cake, I used the mini-wonder mold pan for the large hill and just built up icing for the 3 little hills (they are hard to see at this camera angle). I used crushed vanilla wafers for the sand. All of the icing is B/C. The signs and flags were made using my computer, scrapbook supplies and cookie/lollipop sticks.

Shrek & Fiona Cupcakes
This was a last minute order I had less than 24 hours to fill. The little boy wanted Shrek cupcakes for the boys in his class and Fiona cupcakes for the girls. I finally decided to make my own picks using my computer, scrapbook supplies and popsicle sticks. They looked very plain with just the picks so I piled rocks around Shrek using tip #12 and added a few rocks with orange flowers around Fiona (I added the orange flowers for more color). They aren't amazing, but I think they turned out nicely.

Soccer Cake & Cupcakes
This is a cake I made for my oldest son's Soccer Team Party. I used the Soccer Ball pan by Wilton. I decorated the cake with a star tip and used the grass tip for the border. The cupcakes are also decorated with the grass tip. I used BC icing and also the Wilton pre-made soccer decorations.

Snowman Cupcakes
The idea for these easy to make cupcakes came from an older Wilton yearbook, I just simipliefied the details of my snowman and aded chocolate arms instead of pretzels. I made these for my son's Chirstmas Party at school. I used BC icing in a tip 12 for the body then placed a large marshmallow on top and decorated the face with BC icing. For the arms I used melted chocolate.

Army Cupcakes
I actually did these cupcakes for my son to take to school after I made the Army cake, but they really would go great together because these cupcakes match the cake perfectly! I used chocolate buttercream for the base then placed an Army man on each cupcake and then added a few patches of grass. I think the American Flag cupcake liners really added alot to the overall design.

Army Birthday Cake
This is an Army Cake I made for my son's 6th birthday. This is similar to an army cake that was in one of the older Wilton Books. The bottom is a chocolate hexagon shape and for the hill I used the Wonder Mold pan. I bought a cheap army playset from Walmart to decorate it. I made the trees using ice-cream cones. My icing was a little to soft for the trees but it sure did taste good! I used graham cracker crumbs for the sand but as you can see it did not stick to the icing very well.

3D Bowling Cake
This is a 13 x9 sheet cake. To create the bowling ball I used the mini ball pan; I took 2 halves and iced them together. I am not very good at fondant , but I did manage to make the lane fondant, and to my surprise it actually looked like a hardwood bowling lane. The bowling ball and the cake were iced in BC. The pins are sugar cookies. I attached cookie sticks with melted white chocolate to the back of the pins and inserted them into the cake. The pins are lightly iced with BC.
