Monkey Cake
I made this monkey cake using a 10-inch round and an 8-inch oval, the 10-inch was used for the face, I then cut the oval into thirds. I used the 2 end pieces for ears and the middle piece was cut into a triangle for the party hat. The monkey is iced in BC and I used MMF for the birthday message.

Pool Party Cake
This was a large cake, the bottom layer is an 11x15, the top layer is a 9x13. It is hard to see in the photo but I carved out steps going from the bottom layer to the top layer. The water was made with blue gel. Most of the decorations were made using MMF, I also used gummy lifesavers, and the little teddy grahms were decorated with BC icing.

Beach Ball Pool Cake
I used a 9x13 pan and the ball pan to create this cake. My customer wanted a cake with a beach ball for an end of the summer party for her little boy and his friends so I used MMF to write "Wave Goodbye to Summer". The water was made using piping gel and everything else was decorated in BC. I was trying to create a splash around the base of the beach ball, I'm thinking maybe I should have used MMF instead of BC & gel to get a better splash look?

Construction Cake
This is an 11x15 cake that I carved to make 3 different levels. The side view sort of gives you a picture of the different levels. This cake is decorated in BC with MMF accents. The construction vehicles were given to me by the customer. . MMF was used to make the cones, boulders, rock and the black top at the top of the cake. To make the trees I used the BC icing and ice cream cones. I used cardstock to make the sign with the birthday message.

The bottom layer is 11x15 decorated with mmf, for the hot dog cake I used a loaf pan and carved out the bun. I used the extra cake to make a chocolate cake ball mixture, I rolled that into a log shape then covered it with fondant.

Seashell Cake
This cake is decorated with BC icing, I used crushed vanilla wafers for the sand, the small seashells along the bottom of the cake were made using candy molds. I used candy clay to sculpt the conch shell. I couldn't find a conch shell mold in time so I decided to try my hand at using candy clay, surprisingly it is very easy to work with.

I then used MMF for the eyes, mouth, gills and fins. I iced the cake with BC and a star tip. The birthday message was done in MMF.

Usc Gamecocks Cake
This is an 11 x15 sheet cake iced in BC. This was my first attempt at a FBCT, I was sooooo excited with the turn out! I was so scared I would have trouble but I had no problems at all! It was really very easy! The little boy I made the cake for was turning 7 and wanted a gamecock cake, he was really excited to see Cocky on his cake. I only wish I could have thought of something to add to the large amount of white areas on both sides of Cocky, other than that I think it turned out nicely.

Maltese Dog Cupcakes
These were suppose to be Maltese Dog cupcakes although a few of them look like sheep dog. I had inspiration from the Family Circle Dog cupcakes. These were for a friend of mine so I added an extra one with a bandanna and the name of his clothing line. He loved them. They are kinda cute. LOL

Ice Cream Cake
This is an ice cream cake using the Dairy Queen recipe found on this site. The bottom layer is vanilla then crushed chocolate cookies and chocolate syrup the chocolate ice cream and then finally the icing. I split an actual ice cream cone in half, laid them on top of the cake and then piped ice cream to give it that swirly look. The cherries are real cherries that have been drained very well. The lettering was done with MMF.
