Gift Cake
I made this cake for my son's teacher's birthday as a gift. I am bringing it to her in about 20 minutes. I really hope she likes it, I am not happy with it at all. Let me tell any newbies like me out there who see the bows on this site and think " well that would be pretty easy" lol it's not! That bow gave me sooo much trouble, my first one broke, but oh well I learned a lot!! and that is all that matters right now.

Barbie Princess Cake
This was my daughter's 8th birthday cake. I had a lot of trouble getting the icing smooth, and there are a lot of bulges here and there on the cake but I was happy with how the drop flower border turned out, and my daughter loved it and that's all the really matters. The bottom tier is a 9 inch 3 layer red velvet cake and the top tier is a 6 inch 2 layer chocolate cake, both with cream cheese buttercream icing. P.S.- The date on the camera is set wrong, this is from today 3/25/2007

My Son's 2Nd Birthday Cake
This is my first tiered cakeand first cake over 9 in. in size. I'm not really happy at all with how it turned out, but I had so many problems with baking it that I ended up being really rushed and tired at the end. Oh well, live and learn I guess. P.S.- Date on camera is wrong this is from 2/25/2007 :-)

My 6Th Anniversary Cake
well this one looks pretty bad. My writing on it is horrible. I should have wrote first, instead of trying to squeeze it in last. I'm somewhat pleased with how the fondant roses came out though, my first time making them and working with fondant at all. Carrot cake with cream cheeese filling and cream cheese crusting buttercream. P.S.- The date is wrong, this is from Sept. 2006
