This is carved chocolate cake. Rice crispy treats for the arms. fondant all over. Very fun to do!!

Dinosaur Wedding Cake

Buttercream cake. Used leaf tip to make green border. Handmade the leaves for the trees. NFSC for the dinosaur bride and groom. Had to print out a picture and cut them by hand to make the cookies. Thank you to Steve Skibbie www.granddesignphoto.com for taking the photograph.

Pearls

Inspired, and just about copied straight out from tiptop57. I thought this was so beautiful I made it for my friend's birthday. Triple choc cake w/choc filling and peanut butter frosting. fondant pearls with gumpaste clasp.

I am not sure if I can actually upload this one... there was a controversy about copyrighted ideas... oh well, I am a teacher, I'm going to copyright prison anyway!!! really fun to make. fondant cheese, smooshed cakeballs for the meat, bc lettuce and ketchup.

this was fun to make... plastic mcdonald's polly pocket dolls with fondant sleeping bag.

Seatbelt Purse

This is my first attempt at a purse... I kept getting stuck on doing a basket weave instead of a tighter weave... anyway, my friend abosolutely loves her purse that looks like this, so I made it for her birthday. All bc, choc. fudge cake with bavarian cream in the middle...

R2D2

Inspired by sugarlaced. 4 6" cakes with a small bowl for the rounded top. I put 3 scewers to hold in place. Really fun to make. It's for a friend who is a HUGE star wars fan!

My Dogwoods

The cake lady didn't want to make the dogwood flowers so I was asked to do it. I am pretty happy especially since this is my first attempt at gumpaste! Maybe next time she'll let me make the cake too!

Larrymobile

This is the larrymobile from veggietales... my son loves this and has been bugging me to make a cake for his birthday... not 'til Oct. And well, mine is today, so this is my cake for my 39th birthday! I painted fondant, because I didn't want to piece it together...next time i'll do that.

Buzz Lightyear Rocket

this was an attempt at a buzz lightyear rocket. the red "lights" are mini cupcakes covered in red bc.. didn't work out very well... next time!

Little Mermaid

This was made with choc. candy rocks for the big rock, candy melt shells and bc everything else. I have to say it was really fun to make.

Just Married

This cake looked great... until it fell over. I didn't use enough dowls in the bottom and on the way home from the site I got a call telling me the cake had fallen over. I was particullary proud of the topper which was made out of choc. shortbread and looked just like the picture, needless to say it was smashed in the fall.

Fairy Cake

I did this for a friend's daughter. MMF over bc. I had to add a smaller cake on the bottom because I didn't want to cut off the doll's legs. (I used a the Pampered Chef batter bowl for the skirt)
