Just Married
This cake looked great... until it fell over. I didn't use enough dowls in the bottom and on the way home from the site I got a call telling me the cake had fallen over. I was particullary proud of the topper which was made out of choc. shortbread and looked just like the picture, needless to say it was smashed in the fall.
Oh no, so sorry to hear about the accident. 8O The topper was nice. BTW that is a lot of cake! How many did it feed?
They only got to use the bottom 2 layers... and 1/2 of the 3rd one... I don't know.. I always make way too much! it's a 16 inch down to 6 in. 2 layers each.

omg...what happened after that? this cake is just beautiful!
The people who own the wedding place went out and bought 3 fancy choc. ganache cakes and we were able to make a beautiful display, and everyone was very nice about it.
