Flower made out of choclate. Chocolate center covered in purple sugar. Bronze color used to dust petals.
White chiffon cake soaked with a coffee syrup. Stabilized whip cream with mascarpone cheese and shaved chocolate for the filling. Covered in a chocolate ganache and paper thin chocolate pieces added to the outside edge. A very small amount of cocoa powder in the middle/top of the cake with a round cut out of chocolate over it holding a chocolate dipped strawberry.
Chimney cake 10" squares. covered in fondant bricks, filled in with royal icing. blown sugar bulbs.
Display cake. Covered in royal icing. Hand made gumpaste flowers and black berries. Butterflies also made out of gumpaste.
Tree stump cake with hand made gumpaste flowers. Large butterfly pastilliage. Smaller ones gumpaste. A few feather butterflies added.
This was for a fire fighter graduation from the academy. I have pictures of the fire truck cake posted too, but thought this little guy needed his own picture posted. Both are made out of fondant with a bit of CMC powder added.

This is a cake my fire fighter husband and I worked on for a dinner being put on by the fire fighters for some local military coming home from war. Marble cake with an american buttercream. Chocolate mocha buttercream on the inside of the cake.
Beer Stein for a fire fighter. Beer flavored cake, beer flavored buttercream and fondant. Colors air brushed. Handle pastilliage. Eatable image put on fondant back.
Fun cake to put together! Weighs a LOT when done :) Decorating took about 5 hours the first time.
Fondannt covered board to look like cedar plank. fish was red velvet covered in fondant. They put a fishing pole next to it for the display. Groom LOVED his fish cake!

Friends of ours married in vegas with a reception in our town. This was our gift to them.

Buttercream frosted cake with fresh gerbera daisies. Each cake was a white chocolate cake with an orange cream filling.
Fondant covered cake with brown ribbon around each base. A fondant snail trail on the out side of the ribbon to match fondant color. Green spider mums added to match flowers of weddding. Fun thing about this wedding was the groom didn't like cake. As my little gift, I got him an ice cream cake for him to enjoy :)

Vegan chocolate cake with a vegan chocolate ganache. Topped with fresh fruit. I used my airbrush and sprayed a bit of bronze luster onto it. This was for a wedding, the brides brother is vegan and wanted someting for him to enjoy.
Bronwen Webber came to our area and taught a few classes. This was one of the classes I took. It was so much fun!! The body of the bird is the cake. Parts of the head and beak are modeling chocolate. You cant see it in this picture, but he is also sitting on a stand that looks like wood.
