Hat And Purse
Cakes for my mother, SIL, DIL and for myself. Classic yellow cake with BCI and then Satin Ice Fondant on the hat. I ran out of energy and time so didn't get fondant on the purse. Hat has chocolate BCI filling. Fondant flowers and handle (that wouldn't harden.) I don't make many cakes these days, but seem to be working in two's when I do!

Mother's Rooster Bd
This is another 2006 cake. (I didn't bake any in 2007.) This was for my mother's 92nd BD. She collects roosters, so I had to give it a try. Made from the duck 3-d pan and decorated with buttercream. I made one oval layer, cut to fit, to make it taller and look more like a rooster. Carved the head and beak, the comb and tail feathers are fondant. Edited to correct myself, I did bake one cake in 2007, the Tshirt for Zachary in July.

Godzilla, 3-D And Sheet Cake For Ds Birthday
Thanks to Doug for the diagram for the 3-D Godzilla! This is my rendition of GZ for my DS 50th birthday last month. I'm so glad I showed it to him the night before the party as I fell outside as I was carrying GZ in a box...I wasn't hurt but GZ was a mess! Also glad I had the edible image sheet cake so we had plenty of cake for the party. I stuck GZ back together and party guests were complimentary. All dark choc. cake, BCI, doweled all through the 5, 4 and small doll pan, legs from doll pan as well.
