made this cake for my daughter's preschool christmas party (she goes to a christian preschool and they were having a birthday party for jesus.) the inside is all white cake. i colored one layer red and added andes peppermint chips and i colored the other layer green, then halved each of those and alternated colors (red, green, red, green) it looked really neat. the icing is all bc and i added crushed candy canes on top. the kids and parents really liked it. :)
Made this cake for my bible study's progressive dinner. Bottom tier is alternating layers of chocolate fudge cake and vanilla caramel cake (tinted green!). Top Tier is vanilla cake in alternating stripes of red and white. This is my adaptation of a cake i saw on cc... thanks for the idea! (not sure who's it was). the trees are made from white candy melts. icing is bc. fun fun fun !!!
this cake was so much fun to do ....even though my hand hurt after making all the fur! eyes, ears and whiskers are white chocolate melts, cake is marble iced in bc.

i saw a few other cakes on this site covered in roses, so i thought i'd give it a try. of the first 25 roses i made, most faded (that's rarely happened!) and a few had those annoying little white spots.... so i made more and so far so good... we'll see how they look in the morning. cake is marble and is iced with bc. a friend in our bible study asked me to make this for her birthday. :)

this cake was a marble cake iced in light green bc for a baby shower. got my inspiration from other elephant cakes on this site. thanks eveyone! i filled the plastic baby blocks with vanilla mint chocolates that i molded. i think it turned out pretty well..... it felt like such a tiny cake... i'm used to doing 2-layer cakes. oh well. the person who ordered it liked it a lot. :)
cake was for my grandfather's 90th birthday. half chocolate and half vanilla, all in bc. writing is hungarian for "happy 90th birthday paul." pretty simple cake. he loved that it was written in hungarian though!
