Wedding Cake W/ribbon

Cake is yellow with strawberry filling, buttercream icing and then covered in ivory MMF. Ribbon is fabric. This is only the second wedding cake I've done and the first time I've used fondant. I was very pleased with the end result.

Dump Truck

Chocolate chip cookie cake .... Chocolate chip cookie baked in an 11 X 15 pan and cut out by hand. This was my grandson's 3rd birthday cake and he loved it. Decorations are buttercream and chocolate buttercream.

Carrot Cake from scratch - two layers filled and decorated with homemade creamcheese icing. Cake scored for serving and each piece decorated with carrots made from tip 5 and tip 2 used for greens.

1St Birthday

All buttercream frosting. This cake was made to match the birthday invitation. All artwork was free handed onto cake. I tried to make a stencil and spray the hands on, but it just made a mess, so I decided to use a tip 5 and buttercream icing. Cake is yellow filled with chocolate buttercream.

12 inch square base, 10, 8 and 6 inch round tiers. Icing is all buttercream with pearl bead accents and royal icing lillies. Swags are made of fondant. This was my first "official" wedding cake. It was a difficult cake because there were no borders, but all in all I was very pleased.

Baby Feet Cake

This cake is made to match the baby shower invitation. All buttercream except for the blue fondant used for the babies pant legs. Babies legs and feet were cut from a baby doll purchased at Walmart (they sell the most realistic looking baby dolls I could find).

70Th Birthday With A Smile

70th Birthday for my father-in-law who works at Walmart. I told him I invited all his Walmart friends (the Smiley faces). Cake is double layer yellow on top with peach filling and buttercream icing / double layer chocolate on bottom with raspberry filling and buttercream icing. Smiley lollipops are made of colored chocolate disks melted and formed in a mold.

Soccer Time

Double layer, half white, half choc. Soccer ball is Duncan Hines yellow cake mix with reduced oil for a firmer texture. (Everyone said this was the best yellow cake they had ever eaten.) All buttercream icing. The soccerball is by far the most difficult cake I've done. I was pleased with the outcome though.

Double layer white cake filled with strawberry filling ... Cake on top is the small oval pan, also filled with strawberry. All buttercream icing. 2006 numbers are made of colored chocolate. The graduation spray was from a local party store.

Patriots Football Cake

This is a half sheet cake with a football cake (Wilton football pan) added to the top. I used the "spray on color" for the green field. This was a really fun cake to do.
