Stipes And Dots
This is a wedding cake for a second marriage, they wanted a celebration. The colors were kiwi and fusha and they wanted a monogram and initial topper.
This is the first sold wedding cake done since my 5 month old was born. Man, it's amazing how much longer it takes to do a cake now, lol.
This cake was done as an anniversary cake. My friend called and said that she never had a wedding cake and her only request was that it taste like a wedding cake. So WASC and classic BC it was.
Jim's Wedding Cake
This is the wedding cake I made for my nephew and new neice. The only instruction I was given was hunter green, brown and swirls.
This is a grooms cake I made for my nephew's wedding. Some things didn't turn out as planned, but it was yummy!
This was a cake for a co-worker's baby shower. It was double chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, the mom's request. I had a lot of fun with this one.
This is the cake that I submitted in our local fair, and won first prize. It was my first time using cake dummies and thanks to all of the advise I found on CC there were no problem
Obviously this cake was for Miss Knoxville. It was for a celebration party after the Miss Tennessee Pageant. The crown is gumpaste, royal icing, and dragees. Putting the smaller cake on top was a bit of an improve, the crown broke into pieces and this was the only way I could come up with to fix it. My SIL, carlascakes, helped me out in my time of need by baking the cake for me. Thanks Carla!
Thank You Ems
This cake was for an employee appreciation day at our local EMS department. I added the heartbeat at the last minute and it was a great hit.
Thank You Marmalade Cake Co.
This cake was for my brother and sister-in-law's wedding. (she is a cake decorator too, carlascakes). We took this straight from the beautiful Marmalade Cake Co, just changing the colors and flowers. We traveled for this wedding to a more humid climate. Let's just say that baking the cake was quite an adventure. The flowers were gumpaste and traveled beautifully.
This cake was done with all left overs, leftover cake batter, left over icing, left over fondant cut outs. It turned out pretty cute though. It was for our Easter lunch.
This is a going away cake for a co-worker. I had completely different plans for the cake. Once I got it covered with the blue fondant, I just couldn't "see" that cake with anything but a big yellow flower.
Stars And Stripes
This is a cake I did for a church member joining the service. It is WASC with peanut butter butter cream under the fondant
Party On A Plate
I did this for a New Years Eve party, but it would be great for a birthday. I wanted it to look like the cake had been set down on a plate of confetti. It is a mocha cake with chocolate buttercream icing. Fondant and gumpaste bow and curls
This is a cake I did for work for Christmas. It is suppose to be a bell-shaped ornament hanging from a pine branch.
I did this cake as a last minute addition to our Thanksgiving dinner. The leaves are gumpaste. The icing is peanut butter buttercream.
Fondant And Gumpaste Course Final Cake
This is the cake I did for the last class of the Wilton fondant and gumpaste course.

I did this cake for a friend's son's birthday. The football is a rice krispie treat covered with fondant. The goal posts and letters are gumpaste.
This is a picture of a cake that I took to our bible study group. I did the cake just for some fondant practice.
Cake To Eat 2
This is the second cake that went along with the cake that they didn't intend on anyone eating. All in all, I did 3 cakes for this shower. It took me all day, but I did it.
A Cake That Can Be Eaten
For those of you who have heard about my cake that won't be eaten, just looked at, here is one of the the cakes that we did eat at the shower. I am proud to say that there was plenty to go around, but there was none left.
