Littlest Pet Shop Present Cake
My daughter's birthday cake. She had a coloring page she liked that was the inspiration, but we added different aspects. Plus she loves Paris and the Eiffel Tower & wanted it to be part of her cake. The present details & hearts are fondant. Eiffel Tower is gumpaste & I hand painted the detail. The "pets" were her toys

Paris Birthday Cake
My daughter fell in love with Peggy Porchen's Joyeus Anniversaire cake mainly because it had the Eiffel Tower on it & she is Paris crazy. So this was my rendition. 6 & 9" buttercream squares. Fabric ribbon around the bottom of the tiers. Eiffel Tower & French Poodles are royal icing.

Princess Pillow Cake
For my daughter's 4th birthday. Her theme was Princess & the Pea (Veggietales). I didn't want to go with a character cake, so I went with a pillow since Princess Sweet Pea falls asleep on a pillow. Covered in fondant, fondant accents, gumpaste tiara w/ a diamond I bought at Hobby Lobby.

Basketweave & Flowers
This was a cake for a sweet older lady who wanted a "pretty cake" w/ flowers. I'm not use to good old traditional buttercream & RI flower. I've always stunk at them, but was pleased how they turned out. Also my first time using basketweave. The cake isn't lop-sided just some of the flowers were piped higher.

Pint Of Guinness
I decided last minute to make a cake for my brother's bday, so that's why I didn't attempt it standing & left of "Guinness". It was Guinness cake w/ Irish Cream filling. I covered in chocolate & painted it black. The foam is melted marshmallow w/ water. I'm so glad it was an easy cake & one of the quickest I've done---5 hrs start to finish.

Olivia The Pig
My dd LOVES Olivia & even thought she was Olivia on her bday. Cake was iced in buttercream. Bottom was a rainbow cake & the top was strawberry lemonade. The decorations on the bottom tier are RI (Olivia loves dress up) & everything else is fondant, except the ears are gumpaste. And the first thing my dd wanted was Edwin (the cat)

Olivia The Pig Party Hats
As always I over did it when planning my dd's bday. We had an Olivia the Pig birthday & I sacrificed with the cookies. I was going to do more detailed cookies, but went with a party hat. Olivia is know for red & white stripes, but they looked like Dr Seuss, so I added the black polka dots too (and she wears black too). but the kids loved them & that's what matters! Sugar cookies, MRBC & Antonia's RI

Bonfire
Made for my pyromaniac dh. Got the idea from Lindy's Cakes. And I'm glad it over. I don't know how many flames I made (enough to fully fill a 13x9" pan) and it still wasn't enough. And they were difficult to place w/out having big gaps, so I made some soft flames & attached w/ buttercream to make up for not having enough & to fill gaps. Flames were thin fondant & so were the matches & lighter. "35" was gumpaste. Cake was 2 layers Blackberry White Chocolate, 1 split layer of apple spice & then key lime baked in sm pyrex bowl. But I was pleased w/ it being my first like it.
