King Of The Jungle
This three tiered cake was designed for a little boy turning 6 who was having a "King of the Jungle" themed party. It's a half yellow butter, half triple chocolate fudge cake with an Oreo buttercream center. The cake is finished in buttercream with fondant accents. The leopard tier is a buttercream finish with the spots painted on with flooded royal icing. All animals were created in fondant.

Whimsical Garden Themed Baby Shower
Whimsical, all fondant, garden themed, baby shower cake for a girlfriend expecting a little girl. I put a lot of time into the hundreds of little flowers adorning the bottom layer. Bottom size...14"...top...10" It was a great hit! Oh...little butterflies and bugs were artificial store bought trinkets and Welcome sign was printed on paper. Many cakes from CC inspired this one...thanks so much!

Multi-Shaped Wedding Cake With A Touch Of Rose Accent
Well here it is! My FIRST paid wedding cake. Based off a photo from A Piece of Cake in Fort Lauderdale, FL, provided by bride. I'm very pleased with the outcome and thanks to all here at CC who enlightened me to rolling out fondant with the help of Crisco. I was really sweating that bottom petal tier. Sizes are 15, 12, 8, and 6". It took close to 2 and a half hours to hand glue all those dragees but the overall cake turned out really nice. Haven't heard from the bride yet...hope she was thrilled.

Teapot And Teacup Birthday Cake
Made for a 1st birthday tea party! The teacup is the smash cake, a 2" on top of a 4" cake. The tepot was the sports ball on top of an 8" double. All cakes were strawberry with a cream cheese filling covered in mmf. The mom of the bday girl was absolutely floored when cake showed up...sister made an executive decision and changed order from a number one cake to the teapot. I heard raves were made about it! Yeah!

Pink Butterfly 21St Birthday Cake
I really liked the simplicity of this cake. The birthday girl was completely obsessed with pink and wanted something simple with butterflies. The butterflies are rhinestones attached with royal icing. Cake is mmf 8", 6", and 4" double layers, plain vanilla cake (dyed hot pink!) with buttercream icing.

Superman Birthday Cake
A Superman cake for a 6 yr. old who wanted the Superman on the Planet of Tranquility? Come to find out that was the planet of ice! Hence all the rock candy! All mmf, 8" double bottom, 6" double top. The best part was the store bought topper. It lit up, so my husband rigged it to stay on and it lit up the rock candy! Way cool!

Teapot And Teacup
My first teapot and cup. Made with the sports ball pans and covered in MMF. I have an order this weekend for a tea party so I figured I better know what I'm doing before hand. It was really easy thanks to all the CC members who posted in the forum questions and comments about teapots!

Nemo Birthday
10", 8", & 6" vanilla and chocolate cake with Oreo cookies and creme filling. Iced in crusting buttercream icing. Figurines were bought at the Disney store and shells were made from chocolate. 4" smash cake for the 1 year old birthday boy. The Nemo topper is just a picture cut from a paper plate and sand is crushed graham crackers! I was very pleased with the end result!

Snooty Shopping Girl Birthday Cake!
I made this cake for a girlfriend's mom who is a big time shopaholic! She wanted something snooty and over the top for her mom. She later called to say her mom was in love with it! It's a strawberry cake with cream cheese filling and strawberry preserves. I photocopied the shopper and cut it out and then placed it on top of the fondant and cut it out with an exacto knife. Cake is covered in MMF.

Square Box With Lid And Tissue Paper
Boy oh boy...I had no idea where to post this! It's a vanilla butter cinnamon cake made of two 8"x8" squares on the bottom and one 8"x8" square on the top. The cakes are torted with a cream cheese filling. I made it for my MIL to bring to work for some free advertising for my budding cake business! It was fun to make and the first time I used homemade MMF versus store bought Wilton. Was it just me or do you have to warm MMF in the microwave everytime you go to use it? Thanks for your thoughts!

Hexagon Fondant Wedding Cake
In a effort to put a wedding cake in my cake portfolio I created this and have absolutely no one to give it to! It's a 6", 9", & 12" double layer hexagon carrot cake with cream cheese filling covered in fondant from head to toe! This was my first time making fondant flowers and I thought they came out so cute. This was also my first attempt at making swags and they turned out ok. Note the dent on the middle left tier...my 2 year old wanted to help make the cake! Great...thanks for looking!

Whimsical Bee Themed Birthday Cake
This is my first whimsical cake. I fell in love with this design after browsing through cake decorating links. I believe it was Sweet Creations that originally designed this cake. I'm quite pleased with the end result, my girlfriend who was the recipent of the cake was blown away, and what more can you really ask for?! I can't wait to make another!
