This went with the Tea pot cake I did. It was for a friend who had a "tea party" for her daughter's birthday. Each girl got their own "tea cup". The base of the cup and the handle are cookie. I used clear piping gel to simulate the "tea".
This was done from a picture the lady gave me. While you can't really "see" that it's a hat, per say, I think I took the picture more to show the detail - did this cake a few years ago!
I used some Color Mist sprays to get the sunset effect. I was actually pretty happy with this one!
The bride actually designed this cake on paper and I brought it to life! It has the light blue icing, dark blue icing ribbon around each bottom layer, and then black swirls.
