Pic taken from the invitation. All in buttercream and drawn freehand.
This was for my mom, (several years ago!) and it was taken from a kitchen towel she had in her "cow kitchen". All buttercream and done freehand.
All buttercream. Drawing is freehand.
"Petals" are fondant, with edges dipped in pink sugar. Got it from one of the Wilton yearbooks.
Had to keep the cute wedding bears in the photo!!
Church is made from a chocolate mold I've had for years.
This is actually the groom's cake!
Made this for our Worship Team picnic.
This is a picture of a picture, so sorry if you can't see it well! I cut a tractor shape from a sheet cake and then decorated it in the appropriate colors.
Got this idea from this site - thanks to those who did it before!
Done on a single layer 8 inch - small wedding Cinderella figurine and slipper's on a fondant "pillow".
While it's hard to draw on the smaller cakes (this is a 7x11), it didn't turn out to bad!
This was done for a surprise party for my mother-in-law. We had to sneak through her house to try to get items for her cake - hoping she wouldn't miss them!
This was just a quick Memory cake I did to help throw my sister-in-law off her surprise party. My mother-in-law picked up little items that pertained to Deb & Rich and I just placed them on there!
This was done for my sister-in-law's surprise 50th birthday party. It goes with the "Still Wild at 50" cake.
This was done for my sister-in-law's surprise party. My neice sent me a copy of the partyware they were using, and I just copied it to the cake! I did a gravestone to go with this one.
One of my favorites - I LOVE frogs! (If you can't tell - he has a candle on his tongue!)
I did this cake as a centerpiece for a women's tea at my church. It's styrofoam, which is kinda obvious since the bottom cake is so tall. But it gave me a little extra room to do the hearts on the side. I iced it in royal icing, so it would be sturdier and last longer.
Cake is 1/2 & 1/2, scored to individual servings, with a flag pick on each piece.
Took one of my daughter's party plates and cut around the girls' heads. Easier than drawing them all! :)
While this was for an anniversary, it's actually what their wedding cake looked like!
