This was made for a woman who had turned 100. She loved to garden. The fence is made of fondant, the rest is buttercream

This was carved from a 12x18 inch cake and covered in pink fondant. The rattle, baby bottle, and shampoo is fondant as well.

Copper

I got the idea for this cake out of a magazine. The body is an 8 inch round and the head is a six round cake. The snout and the legs are nothing but buttercream.

Sprinit Car

The base of the cake is a 9x13 with vanilla wafers on it. The car is carved and covered in MMF.

Purse With Coordinating Suitcase

My first attempt of carving a cake. Both cakes are covered with MMF.

Sprint Car

The cake was carved out of (2) 9x13 cakes and covered with MMF. The wing is made out of cardboard and covered with fondant. The base is a 12x18 cake. I tried to make the dowel rods higher that the base cake so it would look like the car was actually sitting on the wheels which were fondant covered dougnuts.

This is from the Wilton 2007 book. It one of my first fondant cakes.

Western Town

The cake is 3 layers of 12x 18. The false fronts are cardboard that is decoratored in buttercream. The sidewalk,windows, and doors of the buildings are made out of gumpaste. The sidewalk is supported by pretzel rods. This was made for a school auction. The horses were made out of gumpaste as well.
