Business Card Cookie
Chocolate Rolled Cookie with MMF and an edible image. I didn't realize how thick and noticeable the edges of the edible image would be, so I had to do a little royal icing border around it. Not exactly what I wanted it to look like, but I think customers will appreciate getting one with their orders.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas
Gingerbread sleigh with Antonia74's icing and sparkles. The sacks are spice cake with cream cheese icing and chocolate fondant. The Grinch, Max and all the other decorations are fondant. The snow hill that Max stands on is spice cake as well, with cream cheese icing, fondant and then royal icing and sparkles for the snow.

Beer Bottle Caps
What a headache. First of all I couldn't get the ridges in the bottle caps to look right (they still don't!), then the brush I was using for the luster dust left tonnes of bristles behind, so I had to redo the top of one. The FBCTs wouldn't release from the wax paper, and after all that, I found out that I got one of the logos WRONG. In Manitoba, it's just Labatt Light, not Blue Light, or there's both or something....this was the only logo I found online! But she said she loved it.....

1St Bithday Cake & Smash Cake
Lemon Pound Cake with raspberry filling. Buttercream icing with fondant decorations. Last night they told me they would have to hold off on this cake because their little girl had the flu....and then this morning at 9am I got a call saying, "Please bring the cake anyways!" That was a fast decorating job!

Ladybug Cake
This cake started off fun to make....the head of that dang thing gave me so much trouble! It was surprisingly easy to cover the body of the ladybug with fondant though, thank goodness! The bottom cake is covered in buttercream with fondant accents, and the ladybug is covered in fondant.

St Louis Cardinals Cake
Finally, I got to put my cardinal on his cake! I got the inspiration for this cake from www.thecakecorner.com - I know she is a CC user too, but I don't know her user name. The cake is the Chocolate Layer Cake from this site, with chocolate and vanilla buttercream. The letters are color flow, the cardinal is candy clay, and the baseball is two round Creme de Menthe cakes covered in fondant!
