This cake was nothing but trouble from the start!! Didn't let it cool long enough, so I had giant chunks out of it!! Toba Garrett's spackle technique made it possible to decorate. Anyway, it got beat up on the way home from class, hence the many very quick "patch" jobs and bruises in my pic.
2 9x 13, end to end. One french vanilla, one strawberry. Buttercream icing. Fondant "alley" and sign. Fondant pins wrapped around candles.

these are my first bouquets. I made them for my son's teachers. No fail sugar cookies with Alice's cookie icing.

This is my first stacked cake and my first cornelli lace. I was so relieved when I dropped it off that the cake made it there in one piece that I forgot to take a picture with the topper on it. It was for my friend's sons first birthday and had a baby block with his picture on the lid and I piped around it. I think the camera was crooked, not the cake. I did notice that the sides on the top bulged a little.
Can't wait to start course III!!!
Just my little Easter cake.
This is my first experiment with mmf. I didn't make enough loops for my bow, so I stuck the rose on top. I also didn't let the loops dry overnight, so they were a little floppy.
Here is my last class cake for Wilton I. I have this funky ledge thing going on on the top. I think it is because I have crumb phobia and really put alot of icing on.
