Cole-Coon Wedding
This was my first attempt at a real cake shaped like my daisy cake. I decided it is a unstable design. It was really leaning forward by the time they did the cake cutting ceremony. I was praying they would hurry up before it fell over! :) I used 2 inch styrofoam to make the tiers extra tall. Fondant with royal icing lillies.

Snowflake Cake
Oval cake dummies. Fondant covered. Spackeled with buttercream and then dusted with disco dust( love the stuff!)on the back half, embossed with snowflakes on the front half, then dusted with sliver. Royal icing snowfakes dusted with both the disco and silver cascading down the front. Took the ideas from flowergirlMN and sugarshack to make this.

Retirement Cake
11x15 base. I baked the mug in a soup can. Buttercream everything except the golf balls and mug handle. Handle-foamcore covered in buttercream, golf balls- plastic :) . Airbrushed. I didn't put any support under the mug because I didn't think it was that heavy, but it feel over on the way delivering it, so I had to go home and make another and put support under it. Luckily, I had baked 2! Lesson learned- better to be safe than sorry!!

Picnic Basket
3- 11" rounds cut to shape. Buttercream basketweave, fondant blanket, real marshmellows, royal icing flowers, handle- fondant covered foamcore, raised lid- buttercream covered foamcore . I wasn't really looking forward to this cake because I thought it would be boring, but I had so much fun doing it!

West Wedding
My first square fondant cake. I was way stressed while doing this cake. Each tier is extra tall. There are 2-3 layer layers in each tier separated by cardboard. And this is the first time I had to assemble a stacked cake at the reception hall. I wasn't sure how it would hold up, but everything went fine!

7/7/07 Wedding Cake
This idea was from a wilton wedding cake book. 14'', 10", 7" rounds with push in pillars. buttercream icing, royal icing lillies and piping. Rose luster dust painted on some of the lillies. 2 8" satalite cakes. ( they were supposed to be totally plain, but I couldn't help but put something on them :) )
