There Are Worse Things Than Turning 30

The white showed thru which gave the water a realistic feel and a lot of movement,

Swank Martini Cake
This cake is still one of my favorite even though I have done so many since. This was for a 50th birthday that was held at a martini bar with animal print sofas, etc. The "martini glasses" on the cake are carved and I just love the piped "olives" with red gel "pimento" all around the bottom of the cake and on the "glasses"

Spiderman Cake
For my son's 3rd birthday. Used the method of piping BC on waxed paper over image, then freezing. Then frost entire cake, and lay frozen image on top, then added black gel detailing. If you need a REALLY authentic looking character and you have never tried this method before, I strongly suggest it! Works like a charm every time!

Giraffe Fondant Cake For Baby Shower
This is my first fondant covered cake. I rolled the giraffe topper out of fondant several days before the shower to allow it to set-up. I was pretty pleased with how it turned-out. I hand-painted the coloring on the fondant using food coloring mixed with vodka (thank's Duff!)
