Elmos's Present
I made Elmo using the Wilton Bear Pan. He's covered in red BC using grass tip with fondant eyes and nose. Present is covered in BC with marshmallow rope candy, BC accents, and Candy Melt letters and lollipops that I made. This cake took a lot of hours! I'm not all that happy with the overall cake...

Jack Skellington's Lost His Head!
I used the sports ball pan for his head. For his body I cut a 10" round in half. His jacket is fondant with luster dust stripes. The bat is gumpaste. His neck is fondant wrapped around a cake pillar. The rest is BC. I realized after I cut the fondant away from the top part of his body, that if I had cut the top part away and then cut a straight line down the front, I would have been able to "open" his jacket and actually have 3-D lapels. Oh well, it was a learning experience.

Lord Of The Rings Hobbit House
I made this, by special request, for a friend's birthday. I got the idea from a picture of a lady's cake on this site. It is the Lord of the Rings Hobbit house. I made a half sphere cake and put that on top of a sheet cake and covered it w/BC. The windows, doors, and chimney are fondant. The chimney has a silver candle in it. The flower pot is fondant w/a royal icing flower and Oreo dirt. I luster dusted the door handle and hinge. I brushed the "stones" w/powdered sugar to make them less shiney.
