"mocktail" Cupcakes
These are my mocktail cupcakes because they are based on cocktails, but have no alcohol. There's Kahlua Mudslide (chocolate kahlua cake with kahlua ganache filling, buttercream icing and choc. drizzle), Strawberry Daiquiri (strawberry cake with strawberry filling, rum buttercream and paper umbrella garnish), Margarita (lime cake with lime curd filling, rum buttercream and green sugar sprinkles), and Pina Colada (coconut cake with pineapple cream cheese filling, rum buttercream and toasted coconut garnish).

Pink And Brown Baby Shower
This was for my sister's baby shower. Her color theme was pink and brown. This was my first attempt at MMF, I accidentally left the water out, by the time I realized it was too late and I had to use it anyway. Needless to say, the fondant was extremely hard to roll out and ended up being about 1/2 inch thick. People were pulling it off, but they all said the cake tasted great! I learned, no more experiments or first tries for anyone but family!

White Roses
Interestingly enough, this was supposed to be a package cake with scroll work on the sides and a bow on top. Well, my bow loops didn't work out so I had to improvise. Luckily enough, it was a free cake and I basically could do anything. So I did the scroll work using a pattern press and made a whole bunch of buttercream roses.

Musical Wedding
6,8,10" marble cakes, ganache filling, covered in MMF. Made for a musical couple, groom is in a band. The guitars were cut out of MMF, details drawn with edible marker. Actually, all of the designs on the cake were done in edible marker. The notes on the middle tier actually play the wedding march!

Chateau Frontenac
I made this cake for one of the Wilton contests. It was designed to look like the chateau frontenac which is a famous house/castle in Quebec Canada. This cake took forever, recovered from a major construction mistake, and was definitely a lobor of love, but didn't place, show, or mention in the contest. Oh well....

Stained Glass Poinsettia
This cake is based on a Collette Peters design. The flowers were outlined in royal icing and filled in with colored piping gel to create a stained glass effect. This was just a practice dummy cake so I didn't add any frills but it definitely needs something else. A big bow on top maybe.

Pink And Brown Purse
My second attempt at a purse cake. It's a round cake with the bottom cut off and stood up. I used the piece I cut off to make a little coin purse. My quilting lines aren't great, (I need to get some impression mats), and dragees would look better than the royal painted with luster that I used, but overall I was pretty happy.

Pink And Black
This was a small tiered cake for a bridal shower. My customer told me the color scheme for the shower was black, pink, and silver with touches of lime green and she wanted something fun and modern. I thought alternating colors and shapes would be fun. The cake is hazelnut marble with hazelnut buttercream filling.
