Stained Glass Poinsettia
This cake is based on a Collette Peters design. The flowers were outlined in royal icing and filled in with colored piping gel to create a stained glass effect. This was just a practice dummy cake so I didn't add any frills but it definitely needs something else. A big bow on top maybe.

gorgeous cake I love it like it is......but if you really wanted to add something it would look REALLY cool with a poinsettia like flower made of gelatin.......you know the ones made out of gelatin and wire?? They almost look like glass I bet they'd really set this cake off!!
